Role Purpose Statement

The purpose of the role is to drive the business growth of edible oils products of Food Solutions in Asia Pacific and ensure customer satisfaction liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

Main Accountabilities

Commercial

• Manage and develop businesses independently with existing and new customers, for both flexitank and packaged oils in Asia Pacific countries
• Manage soft seed oil sourcing from global Bunge origin plants and selected third-party suppliers
• Develop tropical oil new business flow for APAC
• Responsible for deliver business plan of assigned portfolio and territories
• Work with Global Customer team to service Key Customers in APAC and develop new opportunities
• Provide business analysis and present to regional leadership
• Business travel to meet customers and attend trade events, exhibitions for new leads and turn them into sales
• Manage contract terms and conditions with customers, suppliers and service providers
• Lead business growth initiatives on industrial, e.g. white space opportunities, include Commercial Excellence meetings participation
• Liaise with internal cross-functional teams for new product development, customer product approval, specification matching, sampling, and pricing
• Responsible for risk management and collection for the assigned customers.
• Responsible to manage and grow the agent/ distributor for the assigned market

Market Analysis

• Generate market insights by monitoring market movements, analyzing internal reports and engaging with origin trading teams
• Provide market insights to internal colleagues and external customers

Commercial Reporting and Operation

• Perform commercial analysis and maintain commercial records, e.g. forecast, action plan, sales channel, commercial reporting, Salesforce
• Responsible for financial result reporting to leadership, including monthly comments, periodic business review
• Manage contract execution with operations team to ensure customer satisfaction, e.g. logistics, freight rates, payments
• Mange customer complaints with internal and external stakeholders

Education/Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial sales or trading of seed and tropical oils
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Entrepreneurial with strong customer ownership & troubleshooting mind-set
• Good data analytical skill with strength in Microsoft Excel
• A strong communicator
• Strong proficiency in English
• Any proficiency in one Asia language eg. Chinese, Bahasa, Korean.

In this role, you’re expected to:

• Interact with all CCB business functions and stakeholders, including ICRM, ORM, Operations, and Internal Audit, to identify key Compliance Risks and Policies impacting the Commercial business and working closely with the front line and support staff to ensure execution of key controls
• Be responsible for strengthening CCB Manager’s Control Assessment (MCA) framework for Asia Clusters, including development of content for inclusion in CCB’s Standard MCA Profile, to ensure completeness of activities, controls, and monitoring/testing as well as execution of QRA/ARA in line with Citi Operational Risk Policy
• Serve as Cluster lead in managing key risk and control initiatives and various MRA/Consent Order workstreams to strengthen compliance with key regulations such as Regulation W, Regulation O, Privacy Regulation etc.
• Provide SME support to CCB Asia countries during audits, regulatory reviews and remediation work and facilitate holistic assessments of issues across the region to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
• Have primary oversight over Asia CCBs implementation of the Fraud Risk Management Program, Data Governance, Privacy Policy, Conduct risk Program, Industry Events review and Regulatory Change management.
• Manage and lead the issue management in ensuring timely identification, documentation, opening and closing of issues and corrective action plans, lessons learnt exercise.
• Support CCB Asia’s growth strategy by proactively identifying areas of control enhancements and ensure necessary mitigants are in place.
• Proactively develop strategic initiatives, including leveraging digital/technology solutions to automate controls.
• Be responsible for communicating policy and regulatory changes to CCB front office staff including impact analysis and training, as needed.
• Run the Asia CCB Clusters Business Risk and Controls Forums (BRCF) and ensure emerging risks and control matters are appropriately discussed and evaluated and escalated timely and as appropriate to governance forums.
• Represent CCB internally at various Governance Committees/Forums and working groups, as appropriate.
• Ensuring all critical risk and control metrics are at or above targeted goals and provide thought leadership and vision in strengthening the control environment.
• Identify emerging risks and opportunities to stated objectives as they arise.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• 10+ years of experience within In-Business Risk and Controls, ICRM, Internal Audit and/or compliance or operational risk management.

PURPOSE

The purpose of this role is to support sales team, the person will possess demonstrable and successful background in the formation and management of customer required product solutions.

NATURE & SCOPE

To provide support to Sales Team in demonstration and providing product solutions.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Perform in-depth and high-level technical presentations for customers and prospects.

To provide technical/project consultancy in support of sales at client meetings and on conference calls.

To discuss, capture and define customer requirements.

To work with the Sales teams to exploit the commercial opportunities for the IT Networking, Security, Servers & Storage range of products.

Responsible for Pre-sales project management from requirement capturing, design to implementation.

Working closely with members of the Delivery management team to ensure Infrastructure being delivered on time, to specification and within budget.

To write technical Requirement Specifications which meet customer requirements and translate these accurately to the Delivery and Deployment team

Where required - to review technology/service offerings/products with internal and external parties as part of any evaluation or development process.

Develop and maintain product proficiency and competency level by attending mandatory training classes and successfully completing required levels of competency.

When required, to develop and deliver training that ensures that the Sales teams understand and use technologies to the required level.

Report monthly to the Pre-Sales Manager on pre-sales progress and development

REQUIREMENTS

Degree or Diploma in Computer Science/Engineering or similar discipline with minimum 3-4 years in system integration work or relevant pre-sales role.

Certifications in various areas such as MCSE, CCNA, CCDP etc will be an advantage.

Experience in multi operating system platform will also be an advantage.

Strong analytical skills and conceptualization of system design and integration with excellent communication, presentation and proposal writing skills.

Relevant experience in project and team management is an added advantage.

Should be able to present solutions at senior management level on the value proposition.
