Your role

• You provide functional support and training within the domain of Project and Operations Management in Fugro’s IFS ERP system. This entails responding to user incidents and questions, trouble shooting issues and providing timely resolutions and answers;
• You assist users in navigating the software, diagnosing and resolving functional issues and answering questions that could not be answered in Level 1 support;
• You accurately document user interactions, reported problems and resolutions in a ticketing system or knowledge base;
• You liaise with developers, system administrators and BPE’s to escalate complex issues, coordinate bug fixes and communicate updates to end users;
• You continuously identify opportunities to enhance the user support process and develop self-service resources such as FAQ’s, user guides and video tutorials to empower users to solve basic issues independently;
• You keep updated with the latest software updates to ensure optimal support delivery and suggest improvements;
• You assist in identifying main risks and propose mitigations in the ERP system where possible.

Your track record

• You have at least a Higher Diploma/Degree in Business Administration
• As a plus, you have certifications such as ITIL or HDI Support Center Analyst;
• You have at least 3 years of experience in Project (financial) administration or Application Functional support;
• Experience with Project Management or Operational Management related field;
• You preferably have a background within an international project-oriented environment;
• You are service minded and have great communication and stakeholder management skills;
• You have excellent English language skills, both written and oral.

The successful candidate will be providing digital customer solutions serve as the first line support to assigned customers/sales.

• Oversee good commercial relationship with all customers
• Monitor programs and procedures to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction with the team

• Develop and direct procedures pertinent to the effective and efficient operation of the Sales Support Team
• Provide feedback to the Operations team to ensure all customers have accurate and timely information on order status and/or changes
• Ensure company policies & procedures, confidentiality, legal and ethical guidelines, such as Delegation of Authority are clearly communicated and adhered to
• Coach and guide new hires and junior team members for development and alignment

Qualifications and Experience

• Post Secondary/Diploma in Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Freight Forwarding Industry
• Good knowledge of Cargowise One is advantageous
• Strong service orientation and customer management skills
• Good knowledge of Ocean Freight Quotation
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork

• Develop and implement sales development strategy considering TVS SCS capabilities, trade lanes and business plan to meet or exceed assigned sales targets
• Identify and jointly develop differentiators with internal stakeholders that will increase our new customer acquisitions and retentions e.g. IV specialisations and solutions etc
• Identify and win new customer opportunities by developing a strong pipeline and executing the opportunity win plan well
• Establish and manage network of customer contacts in order to build relationships and trust between TVS SCS and the customer at various levels
• Drive strategies to establish value-creating partnerships with customers
• Transform discussions of potential opportunities into actionable future plans with customers
• Maintain optimal sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
• Optimise GP and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand
• Oversee coordination with relevant departments on meeting customers’ requirements
• Write up SOP for each secured customer and go through SOP with concerned operational parties to ensure that all understand the required processes
• Facilitate in resolving service issues with the customer as appropriate and requested
• Update all sales activities in Salesforce to ensure accurate and timely monthly sales reporting to the Country HOS and country / global management
• Develop and coordinate effective use of marketing collateral, materials and all customer related information with relevant team members in marketing and administration
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by the reporting manager and country / global management

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, or an equivalent field is preferred
• 5 to 8 years in sales positions in the Logistics or Freight Forwarding industry is preferred
• Proven experience in MNC business development and strategic account management
• Strong market knowledge in freight forwarding, supply chain solutions, preferably with specialisations in certain industry verticals and a ready book of business
• A sound understanding of leveraging a sales process to uncover customer needs, present appropriate solutions and close business
• Must have experience in working within a multi-national / cultural environment
• Strong organizational, business writing and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to multi-task and drive profitable revenue from multiple accounts
• Strong leadership qualities and motivation skills
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively across various levels with internal stakeholders
• Able to drive to meet clients and participation in events
• Experienced sales professional with good local and international client network may be considered for regional or global Business Development.
