We are seeking a highly skilled and creative professional to join our team as a Bakery Research and Development Chef / Quality Assistant Manager. In this dual role, you will be responsible for driving innovation in our bakery products through research and development while ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.

Responsibilities:

Research and Development:

• Lead the development of new bakery products, including breads, pastries, cakes, and other confections.
• Conduct market research to identify current trends and consumer preferences.
• Create and test new recipes, ensuring they meet quality, taste, and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new products from concept to market.

Quality Management:

• Establish and enforce quality control procedures for all bakery products.
• Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, production processes, and finished goods to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Develop and implement quality assurance protocols to minimize defects and maintain consistency in product quality.
• Investigate and resolve any quality-related issues, working closely with production teams.

Operation Management:

• Oversee the daily operation, ensures the quality, standards, and meet the expectations of the customers.
• Ensures compliance to food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Responsible for hire, train Outlet Managers and their teams.
• Manpower planning and scheduling of work for outlet staff.

Qualification:

• At least 5 years relevant operational experience in F&B chains. Experience in R&D, operation and quality control.
• Relevant food hygiene officer and other certifications.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Various working location:

Eastpoint Mall, AMK Hub, White Sands Mall, Jurong Point, Lau Pa Sat, Seng Kang Kopitiam Square, Causeway Point, Waterway Point Mall.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and conduct advanced research and development in the field of control systems and nanotechnology.
• Design and develop innovative control algorithms and systems for construction and nanotechnology applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems into products and processes.
• Perform simulations, experiments, and data analysis to validate and optimize control algorithms.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in control systems, nanotechnology, and related fields.
• Prepare technical reports, research papers, and patent applications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior researchers and engineers.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics or equivalent.
• At least 4 – 6 years of experience in R&D, preferably with focus on control systems and nanotechnology.
• Prior experience in simulation tools, such as MATLAB, and programming languages, such as C++ or Python.

Work Location: Yishun Industrial Park [Canberra MRT] / Have company transport

Salary: Depends on experience

Working Days: 5 Days // 8am/8.30am - 5.30pm/6pm

Role:

The Motion Control R&D Engineer will be involved in the development, sustaining and localization for some automation projects. The candidate will also be required to support Sales/Service/Product Management’s request in product customization, to be in-line with SIPLACE system design.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, develop, and implement motion control algorithm for embedded system according to the development process to meet the project requirements, goals and objective.
• Support necessary function tests and software interface-level related module tests
