Senior Analyst, Actuarial

Job Summary:

This is an individual contributor role where the Senior Analyst will report to the Director and be responsible for actuarial modelling & analysis to ensure accurate & timely IFRS17 financial reporting as well as maximize value for the company. The Senior Analyst will collaborate with other sections within the Singapore team, Regional/Corporate Office/HuBS colleagues as well as work directly with the Chief Actuary. Key Responsibilities:

• Production of IFRS17 actuarial reserve, LICAT capital calculations and other management reporting deliverables for a business line to be submitted to Regional/Corporate Office during quarter close
• Conduct robust analysis into the Drivers of Earnings of the business pre and during quarter close, including collaborations with ALM, Finance, Investment and Regional/Corporate teams
• Quantifying and analyzing sensitivities of the business to identify any potential vulnerabilities, as well as collaborating with ALM, Finance, Investment and Regional/Corporate teams to implement mitigating strategies

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Life Insurance industry
• Actuarial exam progression with a recognized international actuarial body
• Experience with IFRS17 is preferred
• Experience with any valuation and reserve/capital framework is required
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
• Strong technical skills and problem-solving ability, able to work in a dynamic environment
• Strong cross team collaboration skills

This is a full-time, onsite, Science Lab Support Role in MOE Primary School. If you are selected,

You will work closely with HOD/LH-Science and/or Admin Manager in an MOE Primary School (nearest MRT- Pioneer &Lakeside) in the day-to-day activities.

· Maintain loan records of Science Resources.

• Pack and organise the resources in the Science Rooms. Ensure that the Science rooms are clean and conducive for lessons.

• Ensure lab equipment, materials and specimens are in good working conditions. Conduct stock-take at least twice a year.

Maintain a stock book and breakage record to initiate ordering of replacements where necessary.

• Ensure proper disposal of waste materials such as sharp waste objects and chemicals.

• Ensure safety of pupils in the Science rooms. Report any incident to Science HOD/ Level Head.

Maintain a laboratory incident log book.

• Check that first aid box is updated, safety devices in the laboratory, such as emergency eye-washers, showers and fire extinguishers are working.

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Analyst to become part of the Accident & Health actuarial team. You will be part of a dynamic team primarily consisting of actuaries, contributing to Group Insurance business initiatives and overall business objectives.

The Job

· Responsible to design, build, implement and maintain a comprehensive up-to-date database that is consistent, well-defined and well-reconciled to be used by internal stakeholders such as Actuarial, Group Insurance Product & Pricing Management, and Finance.
