Job Responsibilities

· Develops and delivers an on-going supply plan for a significant region for use by internal and external third-party suppliers, in line with appropriate planning and modelling approach and toolkit

· Develops, runs and evaluates supply strategy simulations to define and propose best stocking policy to meet customer requirements within inventory targets

· Working with Head of Sales and Operations Manager, develops, runs and evaluates the demand (forecast) for top ranking items to ensure right stock, in right location to meet customer requirements.

· Communicates regularly and in a timely manner relevant information into the sales and operational performance process and to relevant suppliers (internal and third party)

· Generates regular and timely trend analyses, insights and business recommendations, feeding these into the local sales and operational planning process to drive optimum availability

· Carries out regular and timely risk assessment for the demand and supply planning function; identifies, manages and mitigates demand related business risk effectively and appropriately

· Monitors, reviews, and highlights any gaps in the performance of a portfolio of suppliers; recommends improvements by suppliers to better meet demand requirements; makes recommendations to the business to support effective contract negotiation or change contract/supplier

· Reviews existing operations in own area of work and implements innovation processes to generate new ideas and ensure continuous improvements are delivered

· Resolves queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on complex processes and related policies, referring to others where necessary for interpretation of policy

· Contributes to stakeholder engagement through identifying stakeholders, finding out their needs, issues and concerns, and reacting to these by creating and conveying information to promote understanding and commitment

· Supports the local supply chain leadership team in increasing local business knowledge of the sales and operational planning process, including communicating and training colleagues on process and planning best practice

· Develops own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching

· Any other tasks/duties as assigned by line manager from time to time

Job Requirements

· Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain or related qualification.

· Relevant experience in purchasing preffered.

· 1 year experience in Supply or Demand Planning is an advantage.

· Good relational skills, to be able to work in an international environment and to be able to build and keep strong relationships with stakeholders.

· Team player, experience in working in a highly cross-functional organization.

· Sense of urgency, able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.

· Initiative and curiosity, willing to grow and be challenged in a very exciting and fast environment.

Managing supply planning activities in response to demand with effective collaboration between Demand Management, Sales Operations, Quality, Procurement, Capacity Planning, and Factories Execution teams for timely execution of a feasible supply build plan to meet monthly and quarterly shipment targets.

• Establish an aligned build signal balancing supply chain and operations objectives – maximize revenue opportunities, meet demand on time, attain inventory service level targets, utilize resource constraints, etc.
• Manage supply disruption events and provide clear communication to partners on adjusted build plan and priorities, trade-offs and recommendations to meet customer demand.
• Develop supply risks and opportunities to demand and drive risk mitigation action plan to minimize disruption and maximize revenue opportunities
• Project supply accurately to guide reliable commitments to customer orders and sales plan attainment
• Identify and drive enhancement improvement to supply planning capability through understanding of process and system gaps
• Monitor BE inventory health and drive necessary build plan adjustments to meet service level targets and fill rate metrics.
• Provide qualitative supply chain impact analysis to planned and unplanned quality event
• Interface to partners for build plan, supply risk and opportunities, Backend inventory health and On-Time Entitled Customer Request Date (eCRD) attainment

Education

• Master’s Degree / MBA preferred in the field of Industrial Engineering, analytics or Supply Chain/Operations
• APICS Certified will be an added advantage
• 0-2 Years experience
