Job Summary

The Senior/ Air Movement Specialist- AMC performs passenger, cargo and ground service activities in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). He/She ensures that cargo shipments are handled and stored as per handling requirements, prepares passenger ladders, and processes customer flight details and documentation. He/she also follows and implements safety and/or security measures and escalates safety and security breaches.

In addition to operating different equipment and vehicles related to cargo, passenger and ground service operations, the Senior/ Air Movement Specialist- AMC works under all weather conditions as well as in shifts to accommodate round-the-clock flight arrivals and departures. A detail-oriented and meticulous team player, he/she participates in on-the-job and regulated training programmes and works well with others.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct AMC operations (Passenger)
• Perform day-to-day passenger service operations
• Operate passenger ladder for passengers to board and alight from the aircraft
• Prepare passenger details and customer documents for arrivals and departures at RSAF air bases and overseas airfield/airport
• Process customer's flight details and ticketing with airlines and regulatory authorities
• Provide escort in and out of the airbase

Conduct AMC operations (Cargo)
• Execute plans for handling and
• storage of shipments
• Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to load/or unload cargo on/off the aircraft
• Handle Dangerous Goods in accordance with International Air Transport Association Dangerous Goods Regulation (IATA DGR) and other relevant regulatory authorities
• Perform aircraft and warehouse's cargo consolidation activities
• Prepare documentation of cargo details (i.e. Airway Bill) required by international airport authority

Conduct AMC operations (Ground)
• Perform overseas deployment activities, as directed
• Perform fixed based operation support for foreign military aircraft

Perform maintenance operations
• Perform daily inspection and functional checks on GFE/GFP
• Monitor Government Furnished Equipment and Government Furnished Property for scheduled preventive maintenance
• Perform maintenance on in-house equipment, facilities and vehicles in adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WI)
• Perform housekeeping operations within the work premises
• Perform stocktake of all Government Furnished Equipments (GFE), Government Furnished Property (GFPs) and in-house equipment.

Ensure operational excellence and compliance with quality and safety standards
• Perform operations based on quality, environmental, occupational, health, security and safety standards
• Attend daily briefings including safety/operational briefings and toolbox meeting
• Prepare quality and safety reports and raise any QHSSE lapses at work site or during operations

Job Requirements

Job Description

• Responsible for the day-to-day running of the Export Warehouse and Transport Operations
• Responsible for monitoring the build-up of Airline pallets & Loose Lodge-in to terminal
• To ensure that all pallet dollies and unit load devices are received/returned on time from/to SATS/DNATA terminals
• To supervise the packing and repacking of cargo whenever required and to ensure that all export shipments and documents are transferred on time
• To liaise closely with export/import CS/Ops and PCM department's staff to void any off-loading/ collection issues
• To raise an irregularity report if cargo is found damaged in the warehouse and to answer to all calls to the Duty Manager mobile telephone without fail
• Maintain effective control of contractors to ensure compliance with operating procedures
• Monitor the performance of suppliers/vendors/contractors and report any service failure to the relevant parties
• To co-ordinate with Terminal (GHA) on Operational issues as and when being informed by Terminal Officer
• Attend to loading & unloading of shipments into C-Safe and Environtainer for perishable shipments at Customer's premise and ensure timely lodge-in of the shipments to terminal
• Attend unloading of Odd Size cargo, i.e. Capital Equipment and Aircraft Engine at terminal

Requirements

• Diploma
• 2-4 years of relevant logistics experience. Experience in freight/ warehousing will be preferred
• Afternoon shift, 5.5 day work week (Monday to Friday 1200h to 2100h; Alternate Saturday 1500h to 2100h; Sunday/PH 0900h to 2100h). If required to replace as backup, work hours 0830h to 1730h/ 2300h to 0800h.
• Rostered work days and shift allowances are provided.

Job Summary

The Senior Technician/Technician performs routine fuel farm operations and maintenance activities in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations. He/She prepares the daily logs, supervises the troubleshooting processes carried out by contractors, and reports all equipment abnormalities to the maintenance teams. In times of emergency, he follows emergency response plans as an Emergency Response Team member.

The Senior Technician/Technician works outdoors and is able to operate a variety of aviation support equipment and vehicles for military and commercial aviation ground support operations. A physically fit and meticulous team player, he/she participates in on-the-job training programmes and works well with others.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct supply inquiries, request for quotes, price negotiations, price comparisons and prepare sourcing decisions in alignment with defined procurement processes.
• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across all functions and levels, both internally and within suppliers on material mitigations to improve material fulfillment for on-time delivery.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or any other related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant sourcing experience in Aerospace or Defense industries.
• Experience in monthly/quarterly materials forecast based on engine inductions to develop sourcing/mitigations strategies for parts to meet corporate Engine Turnaround targets.
• Good working knowledge of engine parts application to perform mitigations to long TAT parts, spanning over extension of serviceability, in-situ repair and new repair solutions.
• Effective communications and organizational skills to work in cross-functional/international business environment to drive supplier performance reviews and improvements.
• Ability to prioritize appropriately to meet internal customers’ and company’s needs.
• Strong analytical skills that drive creative problem-solving, proposal preparation and negotiation.
