Position Overview

• Transport goods and cargo from one location to another location
• Transport road tanker and packed stock according to the assigned schedule
• Compliance to the local regulations / company procedures & PATROM requirements strictly
• Ensure proper handling of customer goods
• Carry out daily checks to ensure vehicle’s road worthiness before use & maintain vehicle and report any faults immediately to Planner for rectification
• Other duties assigned by Supervisor

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:

1. Collection and delivery of parcels to / from Pick Lockers island wide
2. Route planning for assigned jobs for the day
3. Register collected parcel into system using Pick scanning webapp
4. Sort parcels according to respective Logistic Service Providers and deliver recovered parcel to Pick office daily by 9am
5. Closing of open lockers’ door from assigned Pick Lockers island wide

Key Responsibilities

• Transport and Delivery: Safely operate a lorry to transport goods to assigned destinations within agreed timeframes.
• Loading and Unloading: Assist with the loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring the correct handling and securing of items to avoid damage during transit.
• Documentation: Accurately complete and submit delivery paperwork, including delivery notes, receipts, and other required documents.
• Compliance: Adhere to all local and national traffic laws, as well as company policies and safety standards, including the use of seat belts, speed limits, and securing cargo.
• Customer Service: Communicate politely and professionally with clients upon delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any issues or concerns.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times.
• Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and observing safety protocols during loading/unloading.

Qualifications
