The Opportunity:
Adecco is partnering with a well-established Swiss aerospace equipment manufacturer and we are seeking to hire a Supply Chain Executive (Procurement) to join their business. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the successful incumbent will support in sourcing and purchasing activities, including the implementation of a strategic planning process for purchasing activities.
- Work location: Clementi (transport provided from Clementi MRT to office)
- Work hours: Mondays - Fridays, 9am - 6pm
- Basic salary up to $5,000 + AWS + Variable Bonuses
The Job:
- Regularly monitor supplier performance, support audits, and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee and improve overall supply chain performance in areas such as quality, cost, and delivery, while optimizing costs and ensuring supply continuity.
- Lead supplier/source selection process, and participate in the establishment, evaluation, and approval of specifications for bid issuance and awards.
- Manage and coordinate supplier relationships, performance, and claims, particularly for strategic and critical suppliers.
- Engage in contract and price negotiations with suppliers.
- Identify and evaluate future capability and sourcing needs, ensuring vendor sourcing and supplier development align with company strategy and policies.
- Ensure all supply chain and procurement activities conform to applicable company policies, processes, and governance.
- Establish and lead the purchase-to-payment process, ensuring compliance at all times.
- Propose, participate in, and support relevant Continuous Improvement initiatives and projects.
- Monitor spending, budget compliance, market conditions, and merchandise costs, providing regular or ad-hoc reports.
The Talent:
- Diploma or Degree in Procurement/Supply Chain or equivalent/relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated experience and relevant certification from CIPS, CPSM, CSCP, and CSSBB.
- Minimally 2-4 years of purchasing experience, preferably within Aerospace MRO environment.
- This role may require the incumbent to travel for work on short notice, and work outside office hours whenever necessary.
