As a Freight Executive at Mercantile Pacific Asia, you will be responsible for managing the transportation and logistics of electronic goods and components. Key Responsibilities:

· Coordinate transportation of electronic goods, select carriers, and manage shipping documentation in compliance with regulations.

· Negotiate competitive freight rates and contracts with carriers and logistics providers for cost-effective transportation solutions.

· Monitor and track electronic goods shipments in real-time to ensure on-time delivery and provide updates to stakeholders.

· Analyze freight costs, optimize transportation spend, and manage carrier performance to maintain an efficient logistics network.

· Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and customs procedures for electronic goods.

· Develop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies for potential disruptions in electronic goods transportation.

· Continuously improve freight processes, streamline logistics operations, and identify automation opportunities.

Requirements:

· Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Proven experience in freight forwarding, transportation, or logistics management, preferably in the electronics industry in Dubai.

· Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and trade compliance related to electronic goods.

· Excellent negotiation and contract management skills for freight services in Dubai.

· Proficiency in using freight management software and tools.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for electronics transportation.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners in Dubai.

· Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in fast-paced electronics refurbishing environment.

· Knowledge of Incoterms and transportation insurance specific to electronic goods is a plus.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Perform general storekeeping and warehouse duties.

· Perform physical stock picking, packing and labelling.

· Liaise with courier service or forwarder for collection.

· Control the movement of goods & maintain proper and accurate records of physical stocks against system inventory through regular inventory check.

· Complete Goods Receipt Process ensuring suppliers are sending parts in accordance with documentation.

· Maintain 5S within the warehouse.

· Ensure FOD processes are in place and adhered to in warehouse.

· Assist in effective warehouse layout that accounts for product flow, equipment and product handling systems.

· Follow up with forwarder on the shipment schedule.

· Assist in coordinating general office maintenance.

· Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Perform in-depth and complex analysis as it relates to software, processes or design for project planning requirements analysis, software testing, or end-user training activities for business applications to provide functional and/or business process leadership to the IT organization.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Provide first level IT Support to internal and external stakeholders:

• Serve as the primary, on-site IT point of contact with groups, such as internal/external customer, sales, business process excellence, and other teams as appropriate.
• Maintain training materials, work instructions and conduct training with appropriate team(s), as required.
• Setup and maintenance of master data in CLL operational systems, such as user data, locations (origin / destination), routes / paths and other logistics master data
