We are searching for a Global Supply Chain Manager for a listed company in plastics machinery as part of their plant to expand the office in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the company's global supply chain team, covering aspects such as planning, procurement, logistics, manufacturing execution, warehousing, and transportation.
2. Develop and execute global supply chain strategies, enhance localization of supply chains in various regions to ensure efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
3. Manage supplier relationships, including supplier selection, evaluation, performance management, cost reduction, to ensure stability and sustainability of the supply chain.
4. Coordinate and communicate supply chain activities with internal departments (such as production, sales, quality control) to meet customer demands and ensure on-time product delivery.
5. Supervise the global logistics network, optimize transit time of goods and transportation costs.
6. Analyze supply chain data and trends, propose improvement suggestions, and implement continuous improvement plans.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree or above, major in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, or related fields preferred.
2. At least 3 years of experience in global supply chain management, familiarity with global logistics mechanisms, experience in multinational companies preferred.
3. Excellent leadership and team management skills, able to motivate team members and drive them to achieve business goals.
4. Excellent communication and coordination skills, able to collaborate with individuals from different departments and cultural backgrounds.
5. Excellent planning management skills, able to develop detailed project management plans and ensure their execution.
6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, able to make correct decisions quickly in complex environments.
7. Familiarity with global supply chain management tools and processes, experience in supply chain digitization and technology preferred.
8. Fluent in English both spoken and written, able to communicate effectively with global teams. Proficiency in Japanese or Spanish is a plus.
9. Familiar with rules of origin in various regions and able to identify risks in international trade.
10. Professional qualifications such as the following certifications are advantageous: CSCP certification, CSCMP certification, SSCMP certification, CLP certification, ILS certification.
11. Extensive traveling required to support the business.
