Job Description:

The Cleaning Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the sales, operations, and social impact of our cleaning social enterprise. You will be responsible for managing a team of supervisors and cleaners, ensuring the efficient delivery of cleaning services across various sites.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales and Marketing: Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and maintain existing partnerships.

2. Operations Management: Oversee scheduling, manpower deployment, and resource allocation to ensure timely and effective cleaning services.

3. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to supervisors and cleaners, fostering a positive and motivated work environment.

4. Training and Development: Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of the cleaning team.

5. Quality Assurance: Monitor service quality and implement measures to continuously improve cleaning standards

6. Social Impact: Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve social impact goals and promote the integration of disadvantaged individuals into the workforce.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Previous experience in the cleaning sector or social service sector preferred.

To qualify for the role you must have:

• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain/ Engineering (or equivalent) discipline
• Strong analytics, computer skills and knowledge of Excel is required
• Strong communication, presentation and powerpoint skills
• 3+ years of professional experience in procurement / supply chain
• Strong commitment to professional client service excellence
• Ability to develop, present new ideas and conceptualise new approaches and solutions. Ideally, you’ll also have Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working for a top tier Consulting firm, Big Four or Industry experience with a strong focus on business improvement

• Bring your expertise, focusing on a supply chain planning helping customers build and execute supply chain strategy around S&OP / IBP OR focusing on Sourcing & Procurement to help organization to Source and procure effectively and efficiently

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Deep knowledge in one, or more, of the specific areas of expertise:
• Supply chain operating model design: Demand / Supply / Production / Logistics Planning, IBP / S&OP, Source to Pay, category management, SRM, Procurement outsourcing
• Strong technology Implementation experiences in one or more of the functional areas of supply chain

The Boarding Officer/Ship Agent (Operations) is the first point of contact for vessels arriving into the port and processes all necessary formalities and declarations in a timely manner to ensure smooth entry and departure of ships assigned. He/She ensures full compliance to statutory formalities and factual declarations. The Boarding Officer/Ship Agent (Operations) identifies bottlenecks to propose improvements to the organization’s workflow and assists with its subsequent implementation.

The Boarding Officer/Ship Agent (Operations) is expected to establish good relationships with the Ship Captain and Chief Engineer of the ship, and is an organized person who is able to juggle the demands of paperwork and on-site work. He/She may be expected to work irregular hours to cater to the different arrival times of ships, and cope with unanticipated events and tight work schedules.

Tasks

• Acquire and allocate resources to support operations.

• Handle cargo documentation, invoices and inwards shipment.

• Liaise with clients on status of cargo clearance.

• Liaise with local agencies on daily work matters.

• Monitor cargo loading and unloading operations.

• Monitor vessel arrival and departure.

• Optimize utilization of resources.

• Prepare quotations and proforma disbursements as required by clients, shipowners and shipping lines.

• Process all formalities and declarations in a timely manner to ensure smooth entry or departure of ships assigned

Requirements:

• Fresh graduates and candidates with no relevant experience are welcome.
