Supply Negotiation on Lebanon + APME LPG perimeter
• To prepare any contract or tender required by the affiliate of the perimeter
• To improve existing contracts
• To Lead contract negotiations for main fuels and LPG purchase
• To lead the entire tender process (if any)
• To Formalize commercial contracts with the different stakeholders
Supply Optimisation on Lebanon + APME LPG perimeter
• To coordinate with suppliers vessel nomination
• To closely monitor vessel movements targeting cargo arrival timing at disport to avoid supply disruption
• To provide operational expertise & solutions in event of delays.
• To advise affiliate on vessel receipt scheduling and optimising discharge operations.
• To manage the invoicing process and follow up the payments with the Product Executive
Provide operational support on Lebanon + APME LPG perimeter
• To Follow-up day-to-day activity and optimize supply processes (loading plans and vessel rotations).
• To work closely with supplier operators to ensure that deliveries are smoothly executed
• To advise affiliate and assist in the investigation of quality issue or cargo losses
• To coordinate with suppliers the documentation requirements
• To Ensure compliance with vetting procedures for seagoing vessels and barges.
• To nominate essential service providers when applicable.
Demurrage
• To take a lead role in reviewing claims
• To follow-up and negotiate the demurrage claims on behalf of the affiliate with 3rd parties and ensure that all claims are handled in accordance to the shipping terms specified in the charter party.
Support all affiliates of APME perimeter for Price Risk Management
• To analyse affiliates Price Risk Management with internal stakeholders.
• To identify Price Risk exposure and put in place actions to solve or reduce it
• To develop and implement risk management tools inside affiliates with internal stakeholders
Supply Expertise
• To identify the cause of any encountered operational problems and ensure resolution through coordination with all affected stakeholders, mitigating costs and consequences.
• To Resolve conflicts and settle disputes between stakeholders
Supply development
• To Develop internal commercial supply strategy and give support for B2B businesses.
• To Seek value-added opportunities through market intelligence and optimization of logistics.
Others
• To build up and maintain a reliable and auditable documentation database
• Any other additional duties assigned by superiors.
Requirement
• Undergraduate or graduate level degree in engineering or business.
• Minimum five (5) years in the oil industry.
• Excellent organizational abilities and ability to work in a structured manner.
• Desired traits include teamwork, adaptability, networking, aware of cultural differences
• Good understanding of Oil Markets and Price Risk Management.
• Good knowledge of commercial, operational and shipping (vetting and waterborne transport) processes for finished petroleum products.
• Good practical knowledge of Legal and Contractual aspects, Finance (Credit, Cost Control, Treasury), Quality and loss control.
• Strong analytical, reporting problem-solving skills, solution-oriented attitude, collaborative mind-set, proactivity.
• Strong communication, leadership and negotiation skills.
• Highly motivated and strong sense of commitment and flexibility.
• Fluent in English.
