JOB PURPOSE:

The Asset will report to the Senior Product Marketing Manager – Asset and is responsible to ensure the optimum management of regional inventory levels for a given product portfolio in order to meet the requirements of sales for a given business unit, while managing business risk and reducing any excess/bad inventory. • Daily purchases through IMS- Inventory Management System, either local suppliers purchases or global transfers from Memphis or UK
• Purchase backorder review – to monitor the inflow of product PBO in order to maximize assets via Inventory Management System.
• Coordinate stocking packages with Product Marketing.
• Profile inventory (common bond, customer specific, NCNR)

Job Description:

• To process/enter customer orders, creating delivery documents, maintain records of transactions and interactions, as well as updating ERP (SAP) and databases (Microsoft Access).
• To ensure accurate and timely billing/invoicing to customers.
• To co-ordinate with, or support other departments to resolve customer service issues.
• To work within the Repair Team to ensure repair SPT and company objectives are met.
• Be responsible, and to prepare, present and/or participate in performance related topics.

Requirements:

• Must be familiar and able to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Access and SAP.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and write fluently in English.
• Candidates with previous experience in aerospace customer order desk will be highly preferred.
• To meet the Key Performance Indices (KPI) set forth by the supervisor.
• To assist in other tasks that the supervisor may assign from time to time (included, but not limited to job scope above).
• Reports to the Repair Team Leader and Head Of Operations.

Job scope

About the Role

Hydraulic Modeler – Water Distribution Networks

The Hydraulic Modeler for Water Distribution Networks is a key element in the Singapore team dedicated to advancing the state of the art of digital twin systems and delivering cutting edge digital transformation to Water Utilities in Asia. Reporting to the Project Manager for a drinking water network digital twin project in Singapore, the Hydraulic Modeler is in charge of the hydraulic models that will be used in real-time in the system. He/She will also be a main point of contact with the system users, supporting them and gathering requirements for improvements. The Hydraulic Modeler is autonomous but will be supported actively by senior modeling experts from Consulting, providing methodological guidance as well as helping in solving particular issues that may arise.

Responsibilities & Duties

• In coordination with the data scientist in the team, prepare and validate all data to be used for model building and calibration (asset information, sensor data…).
• Build and/or update hydraulic models to ensure a good fit with the structure of the network. Calibrate the model to a level meeting the demands of the client.
• Participate in the definition and validation with the client of the model calibration KPIs, and of the automated model health monitoring module part of the digital twin system.
• Write model building and calibration reports, including for periodic recalibration. Produce drawings as needed.
• Be the point of contact with the client on all topics related to the hydraulic model and its updates, establishing professional relationships and ensuring delivery of the results.
• Assist the Project Manager in monitoring progress, evaluation results and identification and resolution of constraints.
• Participate in the production of all deliverables (study intermediate and final reports, progress reports, ensure their submission in due time).
• Provide training sessions to users when necessary.
