Job Description:
- Lead SCM process by providing market insight and outlook, business update and opportunity optimization.
- Day-to-day customer service activities and supply chain management - Responsible for managing daily customer service operations and manage entire supply chain process from procurement to distribution to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Demand planning - Work closely with sales and marketing teams to forecast demand accurately.
- Production Planning - Collaborate with Operations team to develop production schedules and optimize the production planning that align with demand forecasts.
- Inventory Management - Lead the team to implement robust inventory control measures to maintain optimal stock levels. Monitor and analyze inventory turnover, taking proactive measures to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Logistics Coordination - Supervise & Coordinate logistics activities, including transportation, shipping, and customs clearance. Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
- Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with local and overseas suppliers. Develop good vendor management with warehouse personnel for effective inventory control.
- Licensing - Manage all license requirements for Import/Export & transportation with compliance to Government Authority of Singapore.
- Collaboration and Communication - Work with product management team to review product specification/technical data. Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that all products meet industry standards and customer specifications.
- Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities for process improvements within the supply chain, formulate the strategies and action plan, implementing best practices to enhance overall efficiency.
- Perform any other ad hoc tasks assigned by Management.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering or any Engineering filed.
- At least 8 Year(s) of working experience in the SCM or related field is required for this position.
- Preferably with related experience in Chemical.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Hands on experience in using Microsoft Navision system and strong in Microsoft Office, especially Excel would be an advantage.
- Experienced in ISO 9001,14001,45001.
- Ability to prioritize work-load, make systematic and logical decisions under pressure.
- Possess an entrepreneurial ‘can do’ mindset, able to work in a start-up environment.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving skills and sense of ownerships.
- Willing to travel if required.
