Your Responsibility

Reporting to the Front of the House Manager, the guest experience executive is responsible for taking care of the overall guest experience from pre-arrival to post-departure by showing interest, anticipating guest needs, engaging with them, and responding to all queries.

Working across shifts, this person will perform all reservation duties, greet guests, check in and check out tasks. The person in this role is passionate about service and eager to create a wow effect on customers. This person will manage the hotel lounge during his/her shift by engaging with guests, upselling the offering of the lounge, additionally to performing the reception related duties.

She or he will become a PMS expert and adequately manage the room inventory to maximize occupancy, assign rooms when on shift, coordinate well with the back of house teams and track and resolve any guest opportunities as well as complying to all SOPs and following up closely on all billing related matters.

The guest experience team will closely communicate with all teams to conduct the necessary pre arrival work for VIPs, corporate clients, groups etc. Additionally, they will be passionate individuals with a guest and sales mind-set to achieve upsell opportunities and create meaningful relationships with all guests, causing them to become repeat and engaged customers.

Skills Required

● A minimum of 1 years in relevant working experience in service or hospitality or hospitality studies

Your Responsibility

Reporting to the Back of House Operations Manager, the maintenance supervisor will be responsible for general repairs in the property such as carpentry, electrical services, lightning, painting, plumbing and other operational tasks. He will work closely with the Back of House Manager to find strong vendor relationships and have a good outsource pool of technicians that can work hand in hand with him to repair and maintain the property at all times. He will liaise with contractors in servicing schedules and ensure that the agreed scope is achieved.

Among the maintenance responsibilities, this person will conduct general upkeep procedures and inspection of rooms for defects and proactively repair issues to avoid guest complaints and out of order rooms. He will continuously walk-through the property to ensure the furniture and fixtures are in good condition and work closely with housekeeping when required to prioritize the repairs to the rooms that are expecting arrival on the day. This person is capable of working under pressure and doing room repairs during small gaps of time from room vacancy between a guest checking out and a new one checking-in.

The maintenance supervisor is a hands-on and flexible person that can anticipate major technical incidents and provide leadership and training to other technicians both in-house or outsourced so that there is a strong understanding of the property equipment that requires maintenance.

He will follow the direction of the Back of House Manager and continuously provide initiatives to improve the overall property condition.

This person will most likely on-board prior to the property opening date. Therefore, he or she will be responsible for getting an adequate handover from the contractors/ construction team in order to understand all the property equipment and materials used. This person is to become an expert with the property to identify the tools and equipment needed for the job scope and be able to anticipate any guest opportunities.

Your Responsibility

Reporting to the Executive Manager and General Manager, this person is responsible for lead generation and conversion for the property. This includes B2B partners and B2C customers across the different target audiences.

She or he will look after generating revenue, occupancy, and work with the front of house team for upselling and customer retention such as by extending the guest’s length of stay. She or he will look after the entire sales process from lead acquisition to lead conversion, whilst minimizing customer acquisition cost. She or he will have a close coordination with the guest experience team for all reservations related work and to create a flawless guest journey. He or she will also work closely with the marketing team and management to share best practices and propose initiatives that can create a numerical impact for the property.

This person will be the main point of contact for several customers across their booking process and will collaborate with several external parties such as event/conference planners, company HR representatives and travel agencies, acting as a key account manager.

He or she is to be a great brand ambassador and sales person at all times. In close collaboration with the property leadership, this person is expected to bring new business to the property to maximize the day to day occupancy.

This person will be evaluated based on overall performance from both B2C and B2B sales driven and converted to the property. He or she should have a “hunter” attitude, on the phone, email, doing site visits, meeting customers and continuously generating new business.

● A minimum of 3 years in relevant working experience: reservations, sales.

● Must be a hands-on person that is resourceful, proactive and a team player

● Must have good communication skills internally and externally. Verbiage is critical.

Your Responsibility

Reporting to the General Manager, the Front of the House Manager is responsible for providing the highest levels of customer satisfaction in the property. For such, he or she will hire, train and continuously motivate a young and energetic team of guest experience that will go above and beyond in delivering an enjoyable experience for guests.

This person will curate the customer journey from the moment that the guest books the property to after their departure, making it a seamless process. He or she will make sure that reducing the response time to guests is a priority and that the team is trained to solve guest queries and manage guest complaints with empowerment and adequate internal communication.

This person will master the property management system (PMS) and make sure that the team uses it adequately to assign rooms that maximize the inventory and provide a smooth check-in and check-out process. This person will communicate closely to finance to ensure that all payments are processed correctly and there are no billing issues.

This person will be on-boarded prior to the opening of the property, therefore below critical pre-opening tasks are to be fulfilled:

Pre-Opening

● Adequate PMS Set-Up including VIP categories, segments and other to identify client demographics

● Preparation of all required Standard Operating Procedures

● Preparation of email templates for guest replies

● Set-Up and implementation of Post stay guest survey and other feedback collection forms

● Hiring and on-boarding and training of all the guest experience staff in close coordination with the management team

Pre-Opening

Additionally to the details mentioned above, below are the most critical parts of the job

● Maximize Revenue:vLook after inventory management and driving up-sell. This will require strong communication with the back of house team so that full house occupancy can be reached while minimizing out of order rooms

● Maximize Guest Satisfaction: look at creating a guest survey and monitoring all guest ratings through the different platforms such as OTAs, TripAdavisor and Google.

● Continuously train all the guest experience staff to deliver on revenue and satisfaction goals

● Adequately manage the property reservations process. Replying to guest requests/ leads of all sources to maximize conversion rate

● Work closely with sales executive to ensure show rooms are prepared when available for possible site visits

● Identify VIP categories and come up with a suitable welcome amenity option for each of them

● Provide monthly reports to leadership in terms of revenue metrics (Revenue, ADR, Occupancy, RevPAR)

● Provide monthly upsell report based on an approved upsell program and continuously encourage/ recognise the team to maximize their performance

● Provide monthly reports of guest feedback and initiatives on how to continuously improve the quality and service delivered.

Skills Required

● A minimum of 4 years in relevant working experience in service or hospitality

● Must be a hands-on person that is resourceful, proactive and a team player

● Must have good communication skills internally and externally. English is mandatory. Chinese is highly-valued, any other language is valued.

Your Responsibility

Reporting to the Back of House Operations Manager, this person is responsible for the cleanliness, general appearance of guest rooms and common areas, making sure rooms are well prepared for arrivals, cleaning on departures and allowing the property to run at maximum levels of occupancy without room readiness delays.

This person will understand the PMS and will monitor it at all times and use the housekeeping tool to organize the housekeeping operation daily and weekly.

As a housekeeping supervisor, the person will conduct daily briefings and operation meetings to train and set assignments to the outsource staff ensuring their compliance with the property standards.

This person will organize schedules, prepare daily reports, inspect guest rooms for arrivals, verify and update of room status, solving for discrepancy rooms, among others.

The housekeeping team is also responsible for checking, controlling, tracking and ordering cleaning supplies, guest supplies and working with the BOH manager for doing adequate linen and supply inventories on a monthly basis. The person will work on shifts and is expected to be flexible to coordinate and cover the day to day housekeeping operations of the property. The housekeeping team will be responsible for linen management in coordination with the laundry company, trash management in coordination with the waste management vendor and pest control.

The housekeeping supervisor will be responsible to be the point of contact with the laundry vendor, the cleaning vendor, pest control, among others. It is fundamental that he or she is a great team player with the room attendants, to engage them and avoid turnover within them. He or she will lead the room attendant team by example and report anything required to the vendor lead to make sure that they always comply on standards, arrive on time and manage to clean the room inventory properly across the days of the week.
