Purpose: This position seeks to recruit an experienced research engineer to assist in developing new sustainable methodologies for chemical breakdown of waste plastics.

Job Responsibilities:

• The researcher will be involved in and contribute actively to waste plastics upcycling research, including but not limited to the following:
• Assist in synthesis and characterisation of homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysts and assist in reaction screening
• Be in charge of essential research equipment and maintennance
• Assist in training and mentoring staff, interns and students as and when required
• Curating and managing experimental data, and assist in preparation of reports, presentations, technological disclosures and manuscripts
