Job Requirements

· Education – Degree Holder Experience

· Preferably with at least 3 years working experience in relevant industry.

· Sales experiences in insurance/investment sales is preferred

· Certifications/licenses – CMFAS M5, M9, M9A, HI Special skills preferred

· Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel, Word & PowerPoint

Checking of submitted documents to ensure completeness and accuracy Responsible for data entry of all UL applications received. Review pending cases and serve as the first contact between sales platform and underwriters Responsible for communicating and explaining on underwriting requirements and decision to FSC/BDMs and Partnership Distribution. Liaise with Agency and Partnership operations, Underwriters, Cashiers, FSCs, Life Operations in terms of underwriting and policy issuance matters. Responsible for issuing medical memo. Case manager to verify the request against system on: per life check, claims history, impairment code and concurrent application. Responsible for coordinating new business processes between Shared Services Office (SSO) and Underwriting and Issue (UNI) on concurrent applications, issuance of policy contract, to retrieve medical reports, arrangement of getting Attending Physician Statement. Ensure all cases have gone through compliance screening (if required) before issuance of policy To process medical reimbursements from sales channels Resolve system issues/exceptional handling and requests received from Distribution channels/IT/Product/Actuarial Assist in resolving policy contract issues on a timely basis Involve in product launches implementation process such as approving of Test plans from Business consulting team; which includes iPOS, iDES and IL system, checking of the testing results from the approved Test plan, participating in the user acceptance test and completing the assigned process according to schedule (if any) To support in ensuring all Case Management related Standard Operating Procedures are up to date. About the Role A Senior Business Development Manager is responsible for executing AIA's HNW strategies and increasing AIA's HNW market share through brokers channel, driving sales and business development activities by building strong rapport and relationships with international brokers/banks, and delivering high level of quality service and support to forge strong partnership and sales growth. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Work closely with Head of Brokerage to develop an appropriate business plan to achieve sales target for the distribution channel. A self-starter in working to deepen relationships with partners through regular engagements and understanding their selling behavior. Keep abreast of evolving market conditions and competitions so as to develop appropriate strategies in meeting sales targets. Design and develop concepts, sales and training materials with support from Distribution and Marketing. Conduct product and concept/sales training through individual and group training sessions, seminars/webinars, workshops and meetings. Work with partners to establish performance measurements and service level commitments. The communication network of the incumbent is expected to be approximately 10% internal with key parties being Partnership Distribution (Marketing & Middle Office); Internal Departments (eg Underwriting, Actuarial, Ops, Customer Service, Legal, Compliance) and 90% external with brokers and banks. Diploma or University Degree, preferably in Business Management / Banking & Finance. Minimum 7 years of sales or business development experience in insurance, banking or finance industry. Experience in the HNW international broker space is highly preferred. Attained CLI, ILP, HI, FNA qualifications or equivalent eg M5, M9. Strong knowledge of life insurance as a wealth planning tool and its implementation in the HNW market. Good understanding on the types of HNW life insurance products such as Universal Life, Indexed Universal Life, Variable Universal Life, HNW whole of Life & savings plans. Highly motivated and pro-active in generating productive engagement with partners so that to create sales opportunities for AIA's solutions. Experienced in case management of HNW cases. Ability to work independently and to communicate clearly and concisely. Ability to create and deliver effective presentations, seminars and workshops.
