Primary Function:

• Provide leadership in the operations of the Process Research Lab (PRL) and Asia Pilot Plant (APP).
• Support/Lead change control activities, quality impact assessment, investigation, CAPA, and audits for pilot plant operations.
• Implement continuous improvements to enhance efficiency and participate in related cross-functional projects.

Major Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the safety, quality and regulatory compliance of the entire shift operations.
• Ensure timely manufacture of research prototypes that meet the intended research purposes.
• Lead and supervise shift technicians and in-house contract technicians in the operation of multiple process equipment systems.
• Perform routine operations tasks. Monitor and maintain process equipment in compliance with site safety procedures and current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) within the Asia Pilot Plant (APP) and Process Research Lab (PRL).
• Coordinate/support trial material readiness.
• Coordinate ad-hoc maintenance activities. Coordination may include oversight of third-party contractors and vendors.
• Support/lead risk assessment and development of standard operating procedures related to operations and maintenance of process equipment systems.
• Support/lead safety and quality events investigation, identify and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Support/lead and execute equipment qualification (ES/IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Complete review of trial records on time.
• Complete internal and external training assessments on time.
• Provide honest, accurate feedback to peers and superiors and exchange relevant information openly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and enhance productivity.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical Process Technology, Food Technology or related disciplines
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in production/manufacturing, preferably in GMP environment
• Well-versed with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good leadership, organizational and communication skills.
• Good team player with initiative.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and stay focused effectively.
• Ability to draft technical protocols with minimum supervision.

Primary Function:

• Ensure that change control and validation activities are executed in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute and review validation protocols and related documentation in accordance with procedures and policies
• Support Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) for new installations or changes.
• Manage change control documentation in respective data management systems
• Perform root cause analysis and identify corrective and preventive actions in addressing quality events
• Support resolution of validation events and escalate concerns in a timely manner
• Support in equipment and process walkdowns
• Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly reporting as required for own business area

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in a Science or Engineering discipline
• Min 3 years of related experience in change control and validation in a manufacturing plant required, preferably in Food/Nutrition/Pharma industry
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
• Familiarity in developing SOPs and work flows
• Knowledge of problem-solving tools (e.g. 6M Analysis, Fishbone, 5 Whys, etc.).
• Familiarity with international and technical standards is a plus (ISO, FSSC etc)
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (Powerpoint, Word, Excel)
• Team player with initiative, drive, good communication skills and a strong command of written English
• Ability to think systematically and with analytical mindset
• Ability to do data analysis using Minitab, JMP is a plus
• Experience in manufacturing process design and equipment design or application is a plus

Primary Function/Primary Goals/Objectives

• Provide technical support to ensure smooth manufacturing operation and minimum disruption to the operation process.

Skills and experience required

• Ability to perform troubleshooting and work on difference types of PLC programming language (Siemens Step 7, Rockwell RS Logix, B&R automation).
• Good knowledge on field instrumentations (temperature & pressure transmitter, control valve)
• Able to perform simple instrument calibration and troubleshooting.
• Read and Interpret maintenance procedures, equipment manuals, work orders, process and instrumentation (P&ID) diagram and electrical schematics to perform required maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting

Requirements:

• Knowledgeable in Spray Dryer and Evaporator Technologies. 2 to 5 years of related experience (Manufacturing/Process) in a manufacturing facility that uses Spray Dryer and Evaporator process equipment, preferably in Food/Pharmaceutical industry.
• Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical Engineering or in related disciplines Knowledge in SAP system/ Project Management skills
• Able to make fast decision and react efficiently to situation Understands engineering principles, theories, concepts, practices and technique

• Lead Food Safety risk assessment and quality records (QRs) for escalation on lines as per Global GMP lifecycle policy.
• Provides support and inputs to update Food Safety Policy and site HACCP.
• Provide support to the Manufacturing organization to facilitate the efficient operations within the production area.
• To optimize existing processes and to ensure that production goals are met. Ensures systems and processes to maintain GMP at workplace.
• Collaborate with Operations sub-functions in tracking critical production and cleaning parameters to track and collate responses for consumers/medical/affiliates escalations.
• Monitors performance of equipment, machines and tools and corrects equipment problems or process parameters that can produce non-conforming products.

• Responsible to Manage and focus directly on GMP food safety engineering/food security and validation, in preparation for the commercial production of regulated products.
