As Regional Director hotel performance Asia Pacific for Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems, you will lead the strategy across all luxury segments to execute revenue targets in alignment with the groups, visions & goals and values. Keys to the success of this role is the ability to collaborate closely with Operations and build trusted business partnerships in region with the support RSVPOs in all manner of hotel performance excellence with a focus on quality and commercial delivery as well as engage with Owners as required and Key Stakeholders in an ambassadorial capacity.

You will be based in Singapore and will report to the Global Head of Hotel Performance Sofitel MGallery Emblems.

As a role model within the regional commercial community, you will be responsible for developing the hotel commercial teams to release their full creative potential in achieving the highest possible revenue from properties within the SMgE region whilst simultaneously optimizing value and service for our clients.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS ARE THE FOLLOWING:

Provide strategic direction on driving hotel performance excellence, particular focus on sales delivery, loyalty contribution and TARS contribution.

Ensure credibility and attend owners meetings as required with the regional SVPO.

Assist in the recruitment and validate the appointment of senior sales, distribution and loyalty roles in hotels.

Contribute to the critical path to support new hotel openings /de flagging of hotels.

Coordinate with the whole Sofitel, MGallery Emblems team for assistance, as well as the broader Accor organization for sales, loyalty, distribution.

Be the interface to the global sales organization to ensure brand representation and production.

Strong coordination with luxury sales, including some tactical dedication actions for Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Strategy

You will contribute to the development of strategy for each hotel to achieve performance and excellence, together with Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems Commercial and Marketing teams and all stakeholders;

You will provide strategic direction, guidance and support on Sales & Marketing concepts and operational decisions for each hotel.

You will conduct bi-annual or as when required hotel business reviews for key assets;

Budget

You will actively participate in annual hotel budget and marketing plan process;

You will validate sales, loyalty pre-opening budgets and proformas in conjunction with Revenue.

You will manage new developments in region;

You will oversee the pre-opening Sales & Marketing function to support Managed and Franchise hotels.

Drive Performance & Quality

You will work with country Sales, Marketing, Ecommerce and Loyalty executives, as well as SMgE Commercial and Marketing teams to drive Topline performance and grow market share for key assets;

You will Support the VPO on all hotel CSR initiatives

You will Develop tactical campaigns that will help drive revenue, F&B, SPA, Meeting & Events

You will develop Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) commercial objectives together with finance, with necessary input and validation from all stakeholders;

You will monitor the hotel quality KPIs;

You will contribute to the quality and brand standards monitoring across all areas while on-property, informing where necessary relevant teams if action is required;

You will support SVPOs as required, responding to owner requests on performance or excellence topics.

• This role will be based in Singapore
• As part of the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific (MEA APAC) Procurement team, the Manager, Procurement Controlling and Analytics is responsible to manage and drive the administration, financial planning, Profit and Loss (P&L), operational processes and performance reporting of the procurement department in the MEA APAC region.  

Responsibilities

1. Top line co-management of Procurement revenue Asia

• Functionally co-manage Asia procurement revenues.
• Co-responsible of the consolidation, management of the operational process and performance reporting of the 3 regional HUBs (MEA, Pacific and Asia) of the MEA APAC region.
• Co-responsible for managing, centralizing and monitoring the revenue of procurement department for multiple countries of the Asia region and profit centre. Act as an internal consultant and business partner to build, implement and animate transverse processes.
• Manage revenues declaration (from suppliers) and lead invoicing process to ensure the exhaustivity of turnover in coordination with procurement category managers and corporate finance.
• Build dashboard and reporting to support the procurement team and organization to analyze top line performance, define action plan and optimize revenues.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly (financial and operational) analyses to better drive performance. Create, improve and provide recurring and ad hoc reports. 
• Improve automation of data analytics, calculation and assessment of Procurement KPIs.
• Coordinate with the central corporate procurement team and the local finance the required business data.

1. P&L monitoring MEA APAC

• Responsible for managing, centralizing and monitoring Procurement P&L for the region (from revenues to Ebitda).
• Prepare and animate monthly and quarterly performance reviews.
• Collaborate with various internal (Procurement team, Finance, Credit management) and external stakeholders (suppliers, auditors, etc).

1. Budget and forecast planning & Risk and credit Management

• Support forecasting & budget planning processes for Procurement in collaboration with both local Finance department and Corporate Procurement department.
• Manage, centralize and prepare financial performance reviews for the region and budget presentation.
• Own the credit management process, contribute to the ageing balance monitoring and support category managers in payment collection.
• Create dashboard and reporting on ageing balance.
• Monitor suppliers‘ dependency and their financial rating.

1. Digital Solution Deployment and Management Asia

• Deployment of Procurement digital strategies and solutions related to closing the procure-to-pay (P2P) loop.
• Manage hotel and supplier onboarding with P2P solution provider(s).
• Co-ordinate with I.T., Operations, Suppliers and Digital partner to support optimizing onboarding process and change management.
• Prepare and present reports to management.

1. Administration and business process

• Own the procurement administration and processes. Ensure that all documentation are organized, up to date and accessible to all stakeholders.
• Manage and centralize the procurement supplier and contract database. Create and provide reporting on main KPIs.
• Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of group processes. Ensure the department is in line with corporate guidelines.
• Manage audit processes and ensure corrective action are met.
• Support category managers with supplier KYCs, dependency and financial rating.

General Ledger / Statutory Compliance

• Ensure accounting records are kept in accordance with corporate policies.
• Prepare monthly management reports and records by collecting, analyzing and summarizing accounts information.
• Responsible for annual statutory audit for 3 entities in Singapore and Philippines and and assist in responding to audit queries, preparation of audit schedules, confirmations, financial statements and notes to accounts, and XBRL filing.
• Ensure Annual Income Tax for 3 entities in Singapore and Philippines are completed in a timely and efficient manner to meet filing timeline and any tax positions taken and deviation from tax provision and past year’s tax returns are discussed and followed up with relevant management.
• Ensure all other tax reporting for 3 entities in Singapore and Philippines - Advance / Monthly / Quarterly Income Tax filing are filed on time and consistent with tax provision and past year’s tax returns.
• Ensure all Indirect Tax reporting for 3 entities in Singapore and Philippines – VAT, GST, withholding tax filing are filed accurately and timely.

Receipts / Payments and Other Responsibilities

• Process hotel / interco receipts / Manage Payments for a few entities in Singapore and Philippines.
• Carry out any other accounting related duties as assigned by Senior Manager and Director of Finance.

Your main missions and responsibilities will be:

• Rolling out Hotel Management Agreements and Hotel Franchise Agreements based on standard process
• Negotiating with owners and legal advisors of Hotel Management Agreements, and Hotel Franchise Agreements and all related documents
• Preparing and adapting template documents related to the management and franchising of hotels in different legal environments and jurisdictions
• Following-up on related legislation changes with the support of external advisors
• Cooperating with the compliance team in relation to KYC review process for hotel management deals and other related compliance matters
• Providing legal support to management operations teams
• Engaging with external legal counsel to address foreign jurisdiction legal matters (corporate legal requirements, due diligence, registration requirements, etc.)
• Ensuring documents are compliant with Accor Group policies & procedures and maintaining an understanding of the impact of any changes in Accor Group policies, organizational structure, and procedures
• Preparing and implementing branded residences related documentation based on standard process
