Job Description

The QC Lab Technician/Senior Technician reports to the Superintendent, QC for the inspections required for the whole operation of the company.

• Plan, schedule and co-ordinate in-process and final products inspection
• To coordinate and confirm analysis items, timing, specification and analytical methods for each analysis
• Establish prompt and efficient testing service to production department
• Ensure the scheduled analysis is conducted correctly in accordance with analytical manuals
• Ensure analytical equipment and apparatuses are maintained in good condition
• To periodically calibrate analytical equipment and apparatuses as decided in quality procedures
• To ensure analytical chemicals and standard solutions are kept in good conditions and maintained at the specified concentration and purity
• Report the analytical results to the section or person requesting it
• Maintain and update analytical manuals as and when appropriate
• Conduct trend analysis on standard samples
• Ensure that all analysis results are properly recorded
• Prepare daily analysis report and update data in computer system

Requirements:

• Diploma/Higher NITEC/NITEC in chemistry or science-related discipline
• Working experience in petrochemical plant would be an added advantage
• Able to work overtime on occasional weekends/Public Holidays
• Location: Jurong Island (pickup from Jurong East MRT)

Job Description

• Perform routine calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting work orders as assigned
• Need to Perform shift or standby duty when required to support ongoing operations
• Responsible for ensuring all GMP documentation related to calibration activities is completed accurately and timely manner.
• Close all execute Work Order in SAP/CMX after perform the job at the same day.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or a relevant Trade Certificate with relevant work experience in calibration of instruments in the Pharmaceutical/ Biopharmaceutical industry.
• Experience on instrumentation, field-bus communication is preferred on top of SCADA/DCS/PI/PLC/VFD/basic electrical knowledge.
• Capable to follow SOPs and instructions
• Experience in calibration/troubleshooting of field instrumentation and working on tight schedules.
• Troubleshooting skills and excellent team player

• Assist in smooth sensory lab/skin care lab operations and EEG work.
• Assist sample preparation of test materials.
• Maintenance of descriptive references for sensory test samples.
• Peform data analysis and reporting writing base from data using basic statistical tools to analyze panel performance
• Create graphs/charts to visualize panel performance results.

Requirement:

• Diploma in Perfumery and Cosmetic Science, or Diploma in Food Technology
• Tenacious with good planning and problem solving skills.
• No experience required for the role as training will be provided
• Comfortable working with numbers and data with some experience in analyzing data and working on statistics report.
