The Trading Operator will be responsible for managing the end-to-end cargo operations, ensuring smooth execution from loading to delivery. The ideal candidate must have proven experience in handling petroleum cargo operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full cargo operations of petroleum products, ensuring smooth and efficient execution.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage sales and purchase contracts in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Handle all shipping and banking documentation, including Letters of Credit (L/C), invoices, contracts, and Bills of Lading (BL).
• Coordinate insurance declarations, appoint discharge/load port agents, and manage LOI, as well as load and discharge operations.
• Assess demurrage and update the company's trading system with accurate information.
• Facilitate seamless collaboration between internal teams (Operations, Commercial, Risk, Shipping, Finance, and Accounts) and ensure adherence to internal procedures.
• Liaise with trading counterparties and affiliated offices to ensure the efficient execution of tasks and timely resolution of operational issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or Marine Studies with minimum 2 years of experience in cargo operation
• Experienced in handling back-to-back operations
• Experienced in handling Gasoil and Gasoline is a plus
• Good communication skills in Chinese to communicate and liaise with key stakeholders
• Strong team player, and able to work independently to deliver quality output.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the Accounts Payable process including the booking of entries, verifying vendor invoices with supporting documents, and issuing payment, ensuring that local GST is properly accounted for
• Handle staff claims and audit support
• Handle daily cash reconciliation and quarterly group bank reconciliation
• Monitoring and keeping track of the foreign currency funding requirement
• Issuance of manual debit/credit notes
• Liaising with Operations and external vendors on accounting-related matters, especially the payables related matters including supplier’s statement reconciliation
• Maintain fixed asset schedule and run monthly depreciation from system
• Posting of monthly IFRS16 entries generated from system
• Responsible for the month-end and year-end closing, i.e. Accrual journal, prepare balance sheet schedules
• Assist in ad-hoc finance project in automation of the task
• Assist in other finance work-related tasks and cover other colleagues when necessary
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Accounting or any equivalent qualifications
• Prior experience as an accounts executive / finance executive or similar roles, preferably in Food / F&B industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlooks, Words, Excel & Navision
• Team player with a positive attitude, strong analytical and excellent communication skills
• Possess a willing-to-learn and proactive attitude

Join a leading oil & gas company as a settlement executive, where you'll ensure the seamless execution of financial settlements for global trade activities. Collaborate closely with counterparties, treasury, and operations teams to maintain accurate and timely trade settlements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute financial settlements for physical trading deals, including accounts receivable and payable.
• Prepare and process payment instructions for cargo and associated direct expenses, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate with Operations to gather trade and shipment information, ensuring smooth settlement processes.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate trade data within the trade system for reconciliation and reporting purposes.
• Support monthly closing activities by providing precise trade and financial information to the accounting team.

• Possess good planning and organizing skills
