• We are looking for a Content Marketing Creative Strategist
• The role will start out as a contract (Renewable)

The Talent

• 3 to 6 years experience as a Creator or Content Strategist
• English speaking (additional languages are a plus)
• A link to an online portfolio/social account showcasing relevant work (EG Reels, posting, social video, etc…)
• Demonstrated mastery of storytelling through social video
• Experience collaborating with and guiding the work of designers, copywriters, creators etc
• Demonstrated experience creating work in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the experience communicating complex, sometimes abstract, concepts clearly and persuasively
• Ideal candidate will be able to use Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier or equivalent software fluently

Job Description

• You will be responsible for pitching and producing 2 to 4 social posts a week (Reels, posting, social video, etc… etc) that will drive organic engagement and channel growth
• Deliver compelling treatments, scripts, storyboards and decks
• Some travel to shoots on location and/or with creators
• Work with external and internal production agencies to communicate vision, guide execution, and ensure on-brand delivery of assets at a high level of quality
• Ensure that our content is made on time and in accordance with copyright laws
• Seek out and pitch ideas and opportunities to expand the impact and cultural relevance of the brand
• Have a strong creative pulse on up-and-coming social trends and research techniques that people are using to author, develop, and create content across different platforms
• Partner with creatives/contributors in the respected region to help source stories, topics, and approaches that resonate with our audiences
• Analyzes data to inform creative decision-making with regards to individual creative and long-term strategy

The Job

• Setting content strategy and driving engagement on our social platforms targeted at corporate clients. Develop and implement engaging social media content that aligns with the bank's brand and marketing goals, ensuring posts are optimised for reach and virality.
• Oversee the creation of multimedia content, including videos, graphics, and written posts, ensuring high-quality and engaging material that resonates with the target audience.
• Stay updated on the latest social media trends, fads, and platform updates to incorporate into the bank's social media strategy.
• Build and foster a community around the bank’s social media channels by actively engaging with followers and responding to feedback.
• Utilise expertise in social media algorithms to adapt content strategies that maximise organic reach and engagement.
• Analyse social media metrics and translate insights into actionable strategies to improve performance, engagement, and conversion rates.
• Create, review, and post content in both English and Chinese to effectively engage a diverse audience.

• Regularly test new ideas and formats to stay ahead of the curve and drive continuous improvement.

The Talent

• Demonstrated experience in social media management and content creation. Experience working with financial institutions is a plus. Familiarity with the use of various AI tools in content production.
• Strong understanding of backend algorithms for major social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, WeChat).
• Proven ability to create content that captivates and drives engagement.
• Data and results-oriented with the ability to analyse key performance indicators and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients.
• Strong social media following that reflects knowledge and execution of successful content strategies.
