The Opportunity:
Adecco is partnering with one of our clients in the luxury retail industry, we are seeking a suitable talent to join their business as a Merchandise Planner on a 2-year contract. Reporting to the Merchandise Planning Senior Manager, the successful candidate is responsible all merchandising planning and buying activities for a principal brand's outlet stores across APAC, to develop attractive assortments, deliver performance against sales, SKU productivity and sell-through.

- Work hours: 4.5 days work week | Mon-Thu, 9am - 6pm | Fri half day
- Work location: Central Region
- Luxury Retail industry
- Salary up to $4,800 / month + yearly completion bonus
The Job:
- Analyze consumer retail trends, market landscape, and competitive environment within SEA regions.
- Collaborate with Global Merchandising Teams on seasonal strategies and new styles.
- Work with the Global Merchandise Planning Team to develop growth strategies and key investments.
- Participate in seasonal line reviews to highlight selling trends and product gaps.
- Identify gaps in merchandising assortment during the SPO process.
- Create consumer-focused assortments considering store profiles and SKU productivity.
- Coordinate with the Inventory Management Team on OTB and Seasonal Buy.
- Manage SKU-level seasonal sales forecasting.
- Analyze POS data for pre-season planning and in-season opportunities.
- Partner with the Retail Management team for product feedback.
- Monitor competitors' products and pricing relative to the brand.
The Talent:
- Min 2-4 years of relevant experience in merchandising/buying in FMCG industry.
- Numbers-driven, analytically inclined with proficiency in handling extensive data, capable of conceptualizing and turning them into meaningful analyses.
- Experience in SAP system is a plus.
- Ability to perform well under fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
