The Opportunity

• Seeking for Senior Lab Technician
• Salary: $4500 - $5500 (Based on experience)
• Mon to Fri; office hours; 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Location: Ang Mo Kio, Singapore

The Talent

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 4 to 5 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of battery design and safety standards affecting is a plus
• Experience with X-ray and CT scan for machine will be added advantage
• Knowledge of battery cells and packs, SoC, Memory and power adapters/supplies
• Knowledge of hardware product design and experience with dis-assembly, system and component analyses, and repair

The Job

• Ability to diagnose and determine the product and component failures, and monitor the trends
• Failure investigations, battery safety testing and designs of experiments.
• Under supervision of safety engineers, support the development and documentation of test procedures, test plan
• Coordinate with internal test/lab groups to ensure that testing across different technology space are aligned and meet standards
• Using scientific methods, conduct failure investigations and dis-assembly of products
• Knowledge of shipping and logistics within region.

1. Work Location: Near Eunos/Nicoll Highway MRT
2. Working Hours: 9am-6pm , rotating shift
3. Permanent Role

Responsibilities:

• Provide building maintenance support and service in high rise building, response / hands-on to operational issue arising from electrical services, air-conditioning, plumbing, sanitary services, fire prevention, tenant feedback and etc.

Requirements:

• NTC3 / NITEC in Electrical / Air-conditioning / Mechanical Engineering
• Preferably with 1-2 years of experience in commercial building (Technician)
• Preferably with 3-4 years of experience in commercial building (Senior Technician)
• Knowledge on operating and maintaining electrical and air-condition installation / equipment in a high rise commercial complex
• Team player who is able to work with minimal supervision
• Able to perform rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
