Main Accountabilities:

• To liaise with other departments and engineers to ensure site visits are carried out in a professional and safe manner.

• Training of customers to use equipment and understand basic user functions.

• To cover call out rota to support customers with 24/7 Powercare cover. To work unsociable hours i.e. Night work and weekends as required.

• Expenses and time sheets to be completed and submitted in a timely manner.

• Promote AEGPS maintenance contracts and Service wherever possible

• Technical knowledge and experience brought in

• Efficiency in carry out service activities

Education, knowledge and working experience:

Diploma or Degree in Power Electronics or Electrical Power disciplines

• 1-3 years of relevant experience within the industry

• Good knowledge of industrial power systems products/applications/solutions

• Diagnostic and problem solving skills

• Good base knowledge of PC (J Bus / Profibus / Modbus and other communication media) and programming skills

• Fluent in spoken and written English

• Electrical and Electronic Engineering background is a must

Main Accountabilities:

1. Coordinate major/complex projects from order to delivery at customer site

• Establish a project plan in compliance with Prince II principles
• Be a single point of contact for the customerand internal team
• Manage the project deliverables

2. Monitor the scheduling, process and delivery time of the production process.

• Confers with managers, customers and others to discuss the project status and to modify contract schedules on time when necessary
• Reviews contracts to determine what documentation is required for each phase of the project.

3. Manage an on time and accurate variation order in coordination with the responsible Account/Sales Manager and Field Application Engineer and the MDSC team for final approval.

• Carry out a contract review prior to acceptance of the order

4. Manage completion of the project deliverables, including placing order for all materials, delivery of commissioning and installation services, progressing of PO, completion of documents, shipping requirements and invoicing.

• Checking drawings and technical specifications, ensure complete order files
• Coordinate with Service & Installation for comissioning and services, with purchasing to ensure on time delivery of material, with manufacturing to ensure production in compliance with scheduled timelines, with finance to ensure on time invoicing in accordance with agreed prices and margins

5. Continues inform customer about the status of production, make sure that changes in time schedules (delivery time) or prices are communicated and adjusted on time when necessary.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Electrical degree in engineering or Commerce
• Prince II certificate (preferred) will be an added advantage
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales / engineering environment
• Basic understanding of commercial/contract law
• Good understanding of a project P&L and cash flow
• Good basic knowledge of electrical engineering processes

Main Accountabilities:

• Prepare complex sales quotations and technical drawings for the customers in coordination with the Account Manager

• Support the sales force developing (technical) solutions in order to prepare a quotation for a customer.

• Join and support the Account Manager or Sales Manager during sales preparation, presentations to customers’ and/or negotiating processes.

• Check final order and sales contract with initial quotation and clarify/solve any discrepancies.

• Initiate preparation of technical documents (descriptions, drawings etc.) for the order to start production process.

Main function: Operations – Project Execution

To specify and elaborate the technical requirements, drawings and documentation for a customer application in order to assure a smooth production and on time delivery in compliance with customer specifications and agreed budget

Purpose of the role: To provide production engineering capability and engineering support for systems manufacture and project management activities

Reports to: Execution Team Manager

• Main Accountabilities:
• Make design decisions supported by reference to standareds and/or caculation
• Compilation of most cost-effective specification compliant parts lists and bills of material.
• Identification and submission of related materials requests.
• Production of manufacturing drawings.
• Production of technical or engineering design support information and drawings for project management and other inter-departmental staff.
• Provision of engineering support to project management, manufacturing and field application engineers.
• Provide additional engineering support as and when necessary.

Core competencies

Appropriate level of education, knowledge and working experience:

• Min Bachelors Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, or relevant experience
• 1 – 3 years of engineering design experience in particular generating of drawings
• Computer Literacy – proficient in AutoCAD, 3D Solid Edge, E-Plan, Pro Panel or equivalent & Microsoft Office applications
• SAP knowledge will be an advantage
• Experience in an uninterruptible power equipment, industrial switchgear or associated product manufacturing environment beneficial.
• Familiarity with current applicable European Directives and British, European and International Standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication
