We are looking for a dynamic and experienced a Mandarin language teacher to join us part-time as we look to build the future of student care at Agora Colearning.

Responsibilities

• Implement class programmes in accordance with our pedagogical framework, including conducting the Agora Student Care enrichment programme, encompassing Learn to Learn, Life Skills and Physical Activity, particularly in the area of Mandarin language.
• Supervise primary school children in preparing for, initiating, and completing their daily homework.
• Observe and track evidence of children's academic and holistic development using educational tools provided by Agora Colearning, and contribute to reporting progress to parents.
• Prepare, rearrange, and upkeep teaching resources and learning environment.

Smooth Operator

• Oversee the little details that make a big difference! Manage bookings and rescheduling of programmes, set up rooms for each session, and assist with day-to-day needs, including centre opening and closing duties.

The Event Team Member will assist in the smooth execution of various children-centric events. Responsibilities

• Help with preparation and set-up of events
• Assist in ensuring the smooth execution of various events (e.g. birthday parties, in-house workshops)
• To work with the Event Planner to understand and familiarise oneself with the event programme

Requirements

• Diploma or higher qualification. Diploma in Care and Programme (Student Services & Coaching) or WSQ Student Care Programme is an advantage
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant teaching experience
• Ability to understand the primary school curricular content and supervise homework completion (accuracy and academic support are not expected, but minimum understanding is important)
• Great communication and classroom management skills
• Creative, enthusiastic, and energetic, with a positive mindset to learn and grow

Working days/hours

• School term: Monday to Friday 11:00 am - 8:00 pm (Inclusive of 1 hour's lunch break)
• School holidays and ad-hoc school closure days: Monday to Friday 9-hours shifts between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm)
• Part-time Working Arrangement can also be arranged.

Our Customer Experience team plays a dynamic and important in the running of our centre. They are the key daily point of contact for parents, students and teachers. You will be involved in both front-of-house duties and, additionally, in facilitation and overseeing certain student activities. Responsibilities

Front-of-House Duties

• Staff the reception area, welcome parents and students, manage check-ins and check-outs of students
• Address initial parent questions and be able to triage enquiries across our range of offerings - Student Care, Early Years, third party Education Providers, Events
• Help identify parent and student needs, foster good relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service
• Manage administrative tasks including room set-up, bookings and rescheduling of programmes and assist with daily requirements such as centre-opening and closing and ensure the upkeep of centre equipment and premises

Requirements

• Prior experience working in front of house roles, liaising with parents and children is a plus
• Comfort and experience working with learning management software systems as is prior experience working with CRM systems
• Must be a “people-person”, and have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, especially with parents and children
• A happy, driven, energetic mindset, with an ability to deal with unforeseen circumstances creatively and come up with practical solutions
• Willing to commit for ad-hoc, weekends & PH

• Help with preparation and set-up of events
• Assist in ensuring the smooth execution of various events (e.g. birthday parties, in-house workshops)
• To work with the Event Planner to understand and familiarise oneself with the event programme
• Ensure audience is engaged and entertained throughout the event
• Host events conducted in the Centre (e.g. birthday parties, in-house workshops)
• Support planning and preparation of activities for students
• Undertake post-event tasks such as tear down and clean-up of activity area

• Supporting the Core Teacher in students school assignments / spelling
• Building and maintaining relationships with parents, guardians, and community stakeholders.

• Managing any behavioural issues or concerns that arise with children in the student care.
• Maintaining accurate records of attendance, activities, and progress of each child in the student care.
