Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical stock take and inventory counts to maintain accurate records.
• Process material requisitions to ensure timely supply of packaging materials.
• Utilise the JOT system to track and manage inventory and shipping processes.
• Confirm actual packing results after production closure to reconcile inventory and shipping records.
• Identify, labelling and keep materials in stock, recording location of inventory and reporting shortages.
• Locate materials/supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
• Keep inventory and loading/unloading areas clean.
• Open containers, sort and catalogue materials.
• Verify the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries.
• Work with internal to locate missing packages, fix incorrect deliveries and replace damaged products.
• Pick and pack finished goods according to the specified packing order (SPO) list.
• Assist packing finished goods for shipment, ensuring adherence to packing standards.
• Utilise packaging materials like bubble wrap and corrugated cardboard to safeguard products
• Seal and label packages accurately, including affixing shipping labels and customs documentation.
• Upload and download pallets of finished goods to and from racks using material handling equipment.
• Document product shipment by recording units shipped.
• Ensure orders and distribution of products from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed and staging finished product final distribution.
• Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and materials storage area.
• Maintains in-process inventory at work centres by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
• Operates forklift and pallet jack or signal machine operator to move materials onto and off trucks.

Requirements:

• ITE in any discipline.
• Experience in warehouse/manufacturing environment
• Prefererably in packing or material handling role is a plus.
