What you’ll do

As a key player reporting directly to the VP People & Talent, you will take the helm of our dynamic People team located across Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Japan. You will be critical in enabling our ability to grow our operations and build our employee communities alongside our senior leadership.

The global HQ for Airwallex is in Singapore and this role will require the maturity and agility to partner with global senior leadership as well as regional leadership. You and your team will provide end to end functional leadership including implementation of People initiatives that enable the delivery of the group strategy and business plans of the Asia Pacific locations for Airwallex. This role is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, consulting and coaching to the Asia Pacific leaders across all areas of People function including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, remuneration & benefits, talent management and development, mobility and regulatory compliance
• Assists and/or leads, as appropriate, with the development and administration of programs, policies, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company, and the specific goals of the SEA region.

The Role

We are seeking a hands-on Director of Design to lead our Growth design team. In this pivotal role, you will drive the design strategy and execution for products that fuel Airwallex’s growth and optimize revenue streams. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Data Insights to create user-centered experiences that delight customers and drive business results.
