We are seeking an experienced and strategic Corporate Events Manager to lead our efforts in planning and executing impactful events worldwide, including both self-hosted events and participation in international exhibitions. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of orchestrating high-profile events with international senior participants from diverse backgrounds and corporations. This role requires the individual with deep knowledge of the payments industry, fintech trends, and cross-border businesses, coupled with exceptional events management skills. Responsibilities:

1. Global Events Planning: Conceptualize, plan, and execute high-calibre global events with participants up to 500 attendees, including both self-hosted events and participation in exhibitions, such as conferences, forums, summits, seminars, and industry expos.

2. Senior Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with senior executives, government officials, industry leaders, and corporate partners to ensure their participation and engagement in global events.

3. Strategic Vision: Develop a strategic vision for each event, aligning it with the company's goals, industry trends, and unique needs of diverse participants.

4. End-to-End Execution: Oversee all aspects of event execution, including budgeting, venue selection, logistics, content development, speaker coordination, marketing, and post-event analysis.

5. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with event vendors, suppliers, and partners to secure necessary services and resources.

6. Content Development: Work closely with content teams to develop engaging event agendas, presentations, panels, and discussions that align with industry trends and audience expectations.

7. Global Perspective: Leverage your knowledge of the payment industry, fintech advancements, and cross-border business dynamics to curate relevant event themes and discussions.

8. Industry Networking: Build and maintain relationships within the payment, fintech, and cross-border business sectors to stay informed about trends and leverage opportunities for event collaborations.

Job description

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or related field.

2. At least 5 years of experience in corporate events management, with a focus on planning and executing global events for senior participants.

3. Proven track record of successfully executing large-scale, high-profile events involving international senior stakeholders.

4. Deep knowledge of the payments industry, fintech trends, and cross-border business dynamics.

5. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.

6. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders and stakeholders effectively.

7. Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative event concepts and formats that resonate with diverse participants.

8. Flexibility to travel internationally as required for event planning and execution.

9. Familiarity with vendor resources, compliance and regulatory considerations in the payments and fintech industry is an advantageous.

You will be a key member of Ant Group’s product team to help achieve company’s global vision. You will plan and execute the development and integration of world-class payment capabilities to empowering Global markets. You will take ownership of the products to ensure optimal user experience, modularized mid-platform, security and compliant to regulations.

Responsibilities:

1. Understand in details Ant's product & product operation capability related to payment processing(acquiring) from credit cards, E-wallets and other APMs under Ant's various global entities including U.S, Latam and various Asian countries.

2. Work closely with business development team to create and present Ant's global payment products solution to both prospective and existing merchants, with a focus on selling new solutions Vs. supporting existing solutions

3. Effectively capture and articulate the merchants business needs, identify the potential gaps and translate them into product requirements

4. Lead the product solution development efforts to fill the gap or fulfill customized requirements with a focus heavily on meeting individual merchant's needs based on existing product capabilities, less of developing whole new product capabilities.

5. Regularly collect product requests from other internal functions such as compliance, operations that will have impact on the implementation of the product solutions to particular merchants

6. Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally, and as the primary product contact for queries related to the product.

7. Manage external and internal stakeholder relationship in any product related engagement.

8. Understand, define and track product performance metric. Continue provide feedback to improve customer experience and performance.

Job description

At least 3+ years experience in a product management or related role. Previous experience in payments industry is highly preferred.

Good understanding on payment technology, payment channels and industry players.

Hands-on experience working with both business and technical teams. Experience in understanding business requirement and defining product specifications

Strong analytical skills and proven ability of data-driven decision-making, ability to define and manage qualitative and quantitative research and measurement plans

Strong organisational acumen – ability to thrive in a matrix environment where success depends on a high degree of cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the project lifecycle of new payment channel integrations, in Asia, Europe, US and Latin America and other countries, from initial evaluation through to final implementation. Ant acquiring solution is expanding payment acceptance globally via introducing new payment methods, new features, new fund solutions. You will lead a project manager team to manage the progress, offer insights to deliver high quality payment products and experience to global online merchants
• Streamline sales procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness. This involves reviewing current sales procedures, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes that will optimize sales operations.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive BD trainings to enhance the team's understanding of our products and services. You will create training materials and programs that are engaging, informative, and tailored to various learning styles.
• Take part in or spearhead strategic projects with our headquarter and regional teams. This includes crafting innovative partnership models with various payment service providers, enabling online payment capabilities in new markets, and collaborating with both internal and external teams to foster new business opportunities and enhance post-acquisition synergy.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of payment processing, payment gateway interfaces, and financial systems. You should be very familiar with the commercial and technical aspects of payment processing and have a good understanding of the payment systems involved.
• Excellent project management skills, with a proven ability to lead complex projects to success. You should be able to demonstrate a history of successfully completed projects.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. You should be able to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients, and build strong relationships.
