About the Role:

As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for financial modeling, billing, and expense management for Ampotech’s Singapore office and subsidiary companies in Southeast Asian markets including Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia. The role involves managing Ampotech finance staff and corporate service providers supporting accounting and tax matters in different countries. The Finance Manager is expected to be comfortable with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International) and financial modeling to generate forecasts and anticipate financing needs for general working capital or project financing.

Responsibilities:

• Perform financial planning and analysis work to support decision making, including providing variance analysis for monthly and quarterly reports
• Prepare cashflow projections, quarterly forecast and annual budget at a group level and country level
• Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements for the company
• Interface with auditors on group level audit issues
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Manage finance staff and corporate service providers in regional offices in Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia
• Review and optimize existing procedures and systems to improve the company's finance function and operations
• Serve as the Business Integrity (BI) compliance officer and update relevant information in the company's ESG management system

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience
• Proactive problem solver who pays attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office applications and Xero
• Experience with startup financial modeling tools such as Causal, Finmark, or a similar software is desirable.
• Experience working in a venture-backed startup, Venture Capital, or Private Equity is a plus
• Experience with project finance for energy or infrastructure projects is a plus

About the Role:

As the Human Resources Manager, you will report to C-level management and take ownership over Ampotech’s recruiting and employee onboarding process as the company scales in Singapore and Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in HR and administration for fast-growing teams, and can influence the development of the company’s policies, training and development programs. This role involves coordinating with regional staff in Ampotech’s branch offices to maintain consistent practices and compliance to internal policies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the human resource function in Singapore including (i) recruiting talent, (ii) managing employee onboarding and training, (iii) managing the performance appraisal process.
• Manage HR and administrative staff in Ampotech’s regional offices, to align employment practices and ensure compliance to company policies at a group level.
• Organize and promote company activities such as knowledge sharing seminars and team building events.
• Serve as the Environmental & Social (E&S) compliance officer and update relevant metrics and statistics in the company’s ESG management system.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors’ degree in business administration or similar
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in human resources, business operations, general administration or a similar role
• Experience managing direct reports
• Experience defining employee benefits and assessing market practice and trends to maintain a competitive salary and benefits package for staff across multiple countries
• Familiar with Singapore employment regulations and the processes for employing Singaporean/PR staff as well as staff on Employment Passes, S-Passes, and Work Permits
• Experience working with employee share option plan
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Chinese, Vietnamese, and/or Malay is a plus
