Role Descriptions
As a chemist-cum-Site Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- conducting laboratory tests, including sample preparation and analysis using equipment;
- performing ballast water sampling, asbestos survey, etc;
- supporting quality control programs;
- carrying out calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment;
- ensuring good housekeeping in the laboratory;
- performing other tasks as and when required by management.
Qualification and Experience
- At least Bachelor Degree in Chemistry or related field
- No experience required, on-the-job training will be provided
Basic Requirements
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Able to work independently as well as in teamwork
- Able to follow the standard operating procedures diligently
- Self-motivated
Advanced Requirements
- Laboratory Skills and Analytical Skills
- Knowledge of chemical analysis techniques (APHA Method)
- Knowledge of the ISO/IEC 17025 requirements
- Good documentation practices
Salary and Other Perks
- Basic Salary: S$ 2,800 to S$ 3,500
- Annual Wage Supplement (AWS), Incentive
