Sea Freight Customer Service / Specialist
We are looking for a Sea Freight Customer Service / Specialist to join our Singapore team and will report to the Sea Freight Assistant Manager.
Responsibilities
- Establish good working relations with customers and provide them the best freight solution
- Handle freight enquiries, quotations and coordination with customers.
- Provide support for the commercial team by providing quotations
- Support customers on any claim, payment issues or pending shipment.
- Manage shipment from origin to destination to ensure customers’ satisfaction.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders internally.
- Negotiate rates with carriers, agents, offices and service providers.
- Report any failure to the line manager and ensure client is updated on time manner.
- Maintaining daily and regular reports.
Requirements
- At least 2 years working experience in freight forwarding
- Customer service oriented and key account management is preferred
