Provide onsite assessment of a sick or injured child’s needs
Provide responsible care for children
Uphold all safety standards
Relay information and communicate to management staff
Communicate with families as needed
Maintain records of child’s development
Do dressings and administer medication as needed
Ensure infection control measures are in place
Be alert to childrens' general health status
Provide training to the center’s staff about healthy child care
Monitor facilities for health issues and cleanliness
Assist generally in care of children in the centre
Requirements
Qualified State Registered Nurse
(Retired nurses with current SRN welcomed)
Work experience with children preferred but not essential
Physically fit and able to perform tasks such as sitting on the floor, bending and standing
Willing to recieve on the job training
