Job Description:
Prepare and analyze detailed cost estimates and quantity measurement for both pre- and post- contract administration
Obtain quotations, negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, subcontractors and other stakeholders
Prepare costing and submit quotations to clients
Follow up with vendors for update of materials and equipment pricing
Liaise with clients for all tenders scope of works and related matters
Work with Projects Managers on project administration matters, contractual obligation and cost impact for project, etc.
Assist in the preparation of tender submission documents.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities
Assist in filing and recording of documents
Requirements:
Degree or professional qualification in M&E Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the electrical, M&E or construction sectors
Strong understanding of construction contracts, tendering processes and cost management principles
Good knowledge of materials and works for site usage
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
