Well-structured, progressive in management practices, forward-looking, reputable. They are looking for an astute professional with hands-on track record in designing, implementing and measuring L&D solutions across their workforce, encompassing curriculum development for core trades and related expertise to support organizational development and achieve business outcomes. Prefer a tech-savvy manager with skills set in Data Analytics and experience in setting up dashboards on established softwares such as Power BI for Talent Calibration, Training Needs Analysis, Performance Reviews and other measures to facilitate easy access by department heads and senior leaders to comprehensive staff development data.
Detailed Role Description
The Manager is responsible for formulating L&D objectives, policies, desired standards of knowledge and skills for employees to meet business requirements. The incumbent shall execute learning strategies, design and deliver L&D programs, assess development needs, and track learning effectiveness. He/she shall collaborate with employees and managers across the organization to support career development and manage budgets.
Duties and Responsibilities shall include but not limited to:
- Identify company-wide learning and development needs and develop implementation strategies to deliver relevant programs based on business needs and priorities.
- Conduct and manage learning needs analysis to assess employees’ current capabilities and areas of development required to meet Company’s strategies and growth.
- Identify current and future skills requirements/gaps and create learning roadmaps to meet these needs.
- Design, develop and manage overall curriculum structure and courseware materials to drive learning.
- Develop and deliver leadership development program for leadership career planning.
- Equip supervisors and line managers with the skills and tools to mentor, train and provide job coaching.
- Incorporate modern learning methods/technological solutions to increase learning effectiveness.
- Manage the L&D Budget.
- Administer funding, claims and bond for all learning related matters.
- Continuously assess program outcomes to refine and enhance development strategies.
- Prepare reports for management on learning matters such as learning programs’ effectiveness and ROI, maintain accurate records of learning activities including attendance and learning materials.
