JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handle full set of accounts and ensure timely as well as accurate closing.
Prepare consolidated financial statements, including consolidated balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards (US GAAP and IFRS).
Review and monitor the Group’s financial performance against budget.
Implement financial system and configure it according to financial requirements, management reporting, accounting standards, and regulatory compliance.
Streamline financial processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and automate routine tasks using system functionalities and workflows.
Implement controls, workflows, and approval mechanisms within the system to enhance financial transparency, accuracy, and compliance.
Maintain a detailed fixed asset database, including asset descriptions, acquisition dates, costs, depreciation methods, and useful lives.
Manage corporate tax, GST reporting and ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
Preparing payment instructions for office expenses and settlement of import duties.
Liaise with external auditors for yearly audit and issuance of financial statement.
Assist to prepare required reports for data analysis to facilitate business decision-making.
Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in a Accountancy preferably with professional certification such as ACCA or CPA.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience preferably with financial audit experience
Regional experience highly preferred (China and India)
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft Excel and Office 365
Knowledge of SAGE UBS or ERP system will be an added advantage.
