As a member of the CGH care team, you will work closely with nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality care to patients. You will perform basic nursing care activities for patients and assist in ward administrative functions to facilitate smooth operations in inpatient care, but not limited to the following areas:

Patient Care
• Record vital signs, assist in wound dressing, perform blood glucose testing and specimens collection, assist patients with general hygiene and in other nursing procedures as required
• Perform admission, transfer and discharge of patients
• Perform any other supportive duties as required

Visitor / Patient Services
• Engage patients and visitors to understand their needs

Admin / Operation support
• Perform ward administration work such as coordination of various services, inventory management, and participate in quality improvement initiatives

Job Requirements
• Minimum GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ Levels
• Prior working experience as a paramedic or in a ward setting will be advantageous
• Good interpersonal skills, able to communicate with people at all levels effectively
• Independent, highly organized, able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Able to perform rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Training will be provided

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for patients with lower limb conditions of low to moderate complexities
• Independently assess and interpret findings to form a defined and clear diagnosis, formulate treatment plans with appropriate clinical reasoning, and provide treatment
• Make appropriate discharge plans and referral to other healthcare professionals where appropriate
• Explain treatment plan and expected outcomes to patient and caregiver
• Use appropriate outcome measures and modifies treatment as required
• Completes all clinical documentation promptly and in accordance with department’s standards

Requirements

• Possess a valid BCLS certificate, and all other relevant qualifications to carry out services as a Podiatrist
• Degree in podiatry from an institution recognised by Ministry of Health (Singapore)
• Preferably a member of the Podiatry Association of Singapore
• At least 2 years of working experience as Podiatrist
• Skilled in areas such as:
  • Nail Trimming
  • Conservative management of ingrown toe nail
  • Callus Debridement
  • Corn Enucleation
  • Wound management (including sharp wound debridement technique and offloading),
  • Biomechanical Assessment
  • Taking impressions of feet (plaster of paris, foam box casting)
  • Prescription and fitting of prefabricated and customised foot orthotics (including trouble shooting)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Assist in prescription processing/supplying of medicines to outpatients, inpatient and other departments, e.g.: Laboratory, Radiology and wards

You will act in concert with the Management in understanding the strategic business needs and plans, providing valuable Business Office support to the clinical and operational partners in understanding the operating models, identifying how initiatives will impact the Hospital and make recommendations to achieve process efficiency and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee, design and re-engineer critical Business Office/Patient Billing and Collection processes to achieve efficiency in patients’ services, billing, and collection.
• Lead and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that systems and workflows are streamlined, ensuring automation as much as possible.
• Analyse large datasets to produce actionable insights to improve Patient’s Collection.
• Develop and present Patients’ Receivables dashboards with multiple dimension analysis. This includes assessing data quality and transformations for more advanced analysis.
• Liaise with the multiple stakeholders to identify potential issues and facilitate discussions to achieve optimal work processes and solutioning.
• Manage and implement new IT systems, including the performing of User Acceptance Testing, etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Finance or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of related working experience
• Experience in healthcare will be an advantage
• Knowledge in Data Analytics tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI is preferred
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and a growth mindset
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Team player with the ability to build and sustain relationships with diverse set of stakeholders in a fluid environment
• Systematic and meticulous in work
• Adept at handling complex, ambiguous, and challenging situations
