Responsibilities:

• Work closely with portfolio managers to execute equities and derivatives trades (mainly Hong Kong, China and US markets) for funds;
• Execute trade orders in an accurate, timely and effective manner. Take into account of market order flows, market directions, liquidities, transaction costs, opportunity costs and portfolio risk;
• Assist portfolio managers to monitor positions, P&L and market risks;
• Give timely alert to portfolio managers on good trading opportunities, market risks or abnormal moving stocks;
• Carry out ad-hoc assignments as required.

Requirements:

• Degree or above in Finance, Economics or related discipline;
• 2 to 5 years’ buy-side trading experience in Hong Kong and China A-Share markets and other investment instruments, experience in US market trading is a plus;
• Familiar with hedge fund operations;
• Proficiency with Bloomberg and other electronic trading tools;
• Excellent skill with Excel spreadsheet (including VBAs);
• Deep understanding of market microstructure and be sensitive to macro dynamics and market volatilities;
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment;
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated and strong analytical skills;
• Excellent communication skills, self-starter, quick learner with positive attitude;
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in quantitative finance and data analysis, with proficiency in applying quantitative methods and statistical analysis to extract actionable insights and develop robust trading strategies in the equity markets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative research and statistical analysis for the development of trading strategies;
• Optimize trading algorithms to extract actionable insights and identify key factors of alpha generation;
• Work closely with the investment team to effectively integrate quantitative analysis into investment decision-making process;
• Present and communicate quantitative research findings and strategic insights to stakeholders;
• Keep updated with the latest developments in quantitative finance, financial markets, and equity research to continually enhance trading strategies and research methodologies.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in quantitative finance, computer science, mathematics or a related field;
• Detailed knowledge of equity markets and analytics with 2-3 years of relevant experience;
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis and quantitative methods including non-stationary statistics, time series analysis, factor models, dimension reduction and machine learning techniques;
• Proficient in Python or other programming languages commonly used in data analysis and finance;
• Demonstrated analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with a focus on finance and investment;
• Self-starter with positive attitude and a good team player;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in both English and Chinese.

• Provide full spectrum of professional secretarial and administrative support to Director and Chief Operating Officer;
• Manage daily calendar, organizing and scheduling appointments, arranging trips & schedules, assist in meetings and taking detailed minutes;
• Closely liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure smooth business operations;
• Assist in HR operations and handling HR-related administration duties;
• Provide general office administration support, such as repair and maintenance, office renovation etc.;
• Assist in organizing company events & functions and perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Business Administration, Human Resources or related discipline with 2-3 years’ working experience;
• Well-organized, details-oriented, responsible, flexible with strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with good time management;
• Good command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written;
• Good at MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing.
