Main Responsibilities
Projects professional image at all times through personal presentation/ interpersonal skills.
Understanding of luxury guest expectations and a desire to exceed these expectations.
Initiates contacts and establishes rapport easily.
Organises time and work efficiently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Report to the assistant manager or managers
Ensure the smooth running operation of the restaurant
Greeting, seating, and escorting guests to their tables
Building and maintaining relationships with guests
Up-selling products based on your extensive product knowledge
Assuring outlet setup is complete and walkthrough is done before the shift
Maintaining guest satisfaction levels by being proactive in service/bar operations
Staying attentive to the needs of the guests in the dining area
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in work areas
Process customer orders via Point-of-Sale (POS) system
Assist shift manager in planning and organizing special events
Follow proper hygiene practices in accordance with food & beverage safety and hygiene standards
Supervise and assist in assigned workstation activities and oversee the operation of the outlet in the absence of management
Motivate team members and maintain a high level of team cohesiveness
Support the daily operation in collaboration with the managers, assist with monthly forecasting, weekly schedule, restaurant profitability evaluation, etc
Requirements
Willing to learn and positive attitude
Candidates with Food Hygiene Certification are needed (please include this in the resume)
Willing to work during evening shifts, weekends and public holidays
Passion for people & food.
Enjoy challenges and able to cope in a fast-paced environment
Excellent leadership & positive mindset
At least 1 years of relevant working experience working in similar roles in the F&B industry
Good interpersonal skills
