Accountant

Leading Luxury Goods MNC, with business investment worldwide and across all product categories is seeking for dynamic individual to join the team as Accountant!

Responsibilities

• General accounting including General Ledger up to Trial balance (include passing Journal Voucher)
• Preparation of Treasury package reporting and cash flow management
• Monthly preparation of Management report / Inventory report / Notes to the Accounts
• Quarterly preparation for Cash Flow statement / Balance Sheet
• Oversee Account Receivable / Account Payable scope of work
• Ad-hoc Management reports, government reports etc.
• Liaise with auditor and prepare audit schedules
• Furnish information and liaise with Tax Agent for corporate tax preparation
• Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register
• Maintenance of Lease Contract
• Responsible to check staff claims submitted

Requirements & Competencies

• Degree/Higher Diploma in Accountancy
• Minimum 3 to 5 years relevant experience in full set and reporting
• Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Meticulous and a team player
• Proficient in Excel Functions (Vlookup & Pivot Tables)
• Experience in SAP a plus or with other Accounting software

Responsibilities:

• Review the preparation of monthly reports and commentaries and quarterly reporting by Accounts Executive/ Assistant Accountant.
• Involve in the preparation of quarterly forecast reviews and yearly budget for the Retail Group.
• Prepare management reports for actual, budget and forecast with details down to season and style, as well as handle operational matters, cashflow forecast and management for a company within the group.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, addressing the audit issues, working with the operations team to ensure the implementation of audit recommendations.
• Handle tax and other statutory reporting.
• Review and streamline the existing accounting processes, SOP and tasks while ensuring internal controls are adhered to.
• Any ad hoc duties as and when required

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking or equivalent.
• 3 years of working experience in the related field, preferably with audit experience
• Good knowledge of Singapore financial reporting standards, tax and GST rules and regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Independent and good team player
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, strong problem solving and analytical skills

Requirements:
