• Manage a portfolio of multiple corporate secretarial clients
• Prepare/ review corporate secretarial documents such as change of directors, secretary, auditors and registered office, open of bank accounts, acceptance of bank facilities, change of bank signatories, AGM, change of name, increase of capital, allotment of shares; draft and prepare resolutions etc.
• Maintain/ Review of statutory registers, minutes books and other records including Register of Controllers and Register of Nominee Directors
• Prepare/ Review of incorporation of Companies and continuing obligations of Companies
• Prepare/ Review of registration of Singapore Branch and continuing obligations of a Singapore Branch
• Prepare and release announcements/disclosures to Singapore Exchange
• Manage application process for Employment, Dependant, Long Term Social Visit Passes

Requirements:

• Graduate from ICSA or degree in Business Administration/ Law, with strong interest and enthusiasm for corporate secretarial work
• Able to work independently and meticulously under tight timelines.
• Ambitious and career minded
• Working knowledge of relevant provisions of the Singapore Companies Act, familiar with Listing Rules, Code of Corporate Governance, ACRA Bizfile and e-stamping
• Strong MS Office skills (especially Word)
• Knowledge of Viewpoint software will be an advantage

About the role

You will have the opportunity to help shape, influence and drive the business through business transformation. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of Singapore incorporated clients in corporate tax and multi-skill in at least one functional area such as GST, transfer pricing, private wealth or M&A. You may choose to be based in either Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, or Malacca.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of tax professionals and manage a portfolio of Singapore tax clients rendering compliance and advisory services relating to Corporate Tax, Incentives and grants, Personal Tax, Withholding Tax, Certificate of Residency, and other relevant areas of taxation
• Oversee tax returns and detailed tax computations for clients.
• Preparation of advice requested by clients and undertake review of work done by junior team members to ensure consistency with the Singapore Tax rules, regulations, the practice and requirements of the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (the 'IRAS').
• Attending to ad-hoc queries raised by IRAS and ad-hoc assignments

Requirements:

• Candidates must have directorship potential
• A recognized degree in Accountancy or professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, Australia or equivalent
• At least 7 years for Senior Manager and 5 years for Manager with experience in Singapore tax
• Singapore Certified Tax Professional (SCTP) professional qualification is an advantage
• Experience in shipping industry assignments is an advantage

Business Development & Events Executive

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development & Events Executive to be part our meeting services team. The ideal candidate should be a proactive and self-motivated networker who thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

Your role includes:

• Introduce suitable polling software to SGX listed companies for holding physical or hybrid Annual General Meeting/Extraordinary General Meeting (AGM/EGM)

• Identify prospective clients, build relationships with key decision-makers and retain existing clients

• Prepare proposals and deliver product demonstration/presentation to potential clients

• Provide support for the overall coordination in the lead up to the client’s AGM/EGM

• Participate in post-event debrief, system enhancement discussion and perform user acceptance tests

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Degree in Business, Marketing or related fields

• 2-3 years of experience in software sales and is comfortable presenting to senior management and related stakeholders

• Possess strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills

• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

• Able to work effectively as a team player with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization
