Discovering the role

Oversee and execute projects from initial design through to commissioning and operation, covering both existing and future security systems. Ensure the effective identification and implementation of controls and security measures to safeguard client assets and maintain robust security protocols. Lead project implementation and management for all client projects across the APAC region.

Job Description:

• Coordinate and lead planning sessions for project development and execution (APAC).
• Reviewing consultant's design of integrated security systems (CCTV, Electronic Access Control, Intruder Detection and Alarm systems).
• Manage the installation of integrated security systems to relevant standards and building codes from small-scale deployments to complex projects.
• Develop and manage the comprehensive project plan, including scope definition, work breakdown schedules, resource allocation, and detailed timelines to support project delivery timelines.
• Manage project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential delays or issues, to ensure project success.
• Manage stakeholder expectations to maintain productive and engaged relationships.
• Establish and maintain security systems costs plans and budgets, tracking costs and proactively identifying areas for optimization.
• Conduct and manage the commissioning of security systems and witness testing, including Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to guarantee optimal functionality.
• Manage installation and configuration of video management systems and the integration with building management systems.
• Perform on site-security performance assessments to identify security systems vulnerabilities.
• Develop and maintain security systems documentation, including specifications, installation plans, operations & maintenance manuals.
• Perform security penetration testing, audits and present and propose improvement.
• Execute any other roles as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with at least 10 years of experience in project management related to security systems design or security consultancy.
• Experience with the Security By Design process or prior experience as a Competent Person with CPS.
• Demonstrated success in managing projects within budget and strict timelines, with a proven track record of effective project delivery.
• Deep understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies.
• Security-related certifications or accreditations such as PSP, CPP, or CP (Security) are advantageous.
• Familiarity with or experience in Security-by-Design processes under the Infrastructure Protection Act is beneficial.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with proven ability to manage on-site installation teams effectively.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues, develop innovative solutions, and make informed decisions to drive project success.

This role requires a deep understanding of AV technology, market trends, and the ability to tailor solutions to meet client needs.

Main Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the AV market, focusing on key industries such as corporate, education, healthcare, and hospitality.
• Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing customized AV solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and service, to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to position Convergint as a leader in the AV space.
• Prepare and present proposals, conduct negotiations, and close deals effectively.
• Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in solution-based business development or sales, specifically in the AV industry.
• Strong knowledge of AV products, solutions, and integration.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• Experience in regional sales is a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

The position of Technical Support is responsible for presales support to our sales team. Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide technical consultation, system design and system solutions for all sales/SAM for SEA projects.
• Pre-sales activities support including site survey, client meeting, technical presentation, system demo, etc.

Quotation & Configuration Check

• Ensure all the system configuration and quotes are accurate for SEA region.
• Provide technical training for SEA sales team and technical team.
• Provide after sales technical support (project/CS) if any PM/engineer needs help.
• Provide T&C support for SEA projects.

On site client training

• Ensure quality of Convergint services following company standards and policies strictly, to deliver prompt and efficient response to all service requests within assigned region.
• Prepare customer training materials and deliver professional customer training.
• Attend internal training, improve skills.

Requirements

• Min 3 years or above related working experience in security, electronic or small electronic system design, technical training, pre-sales technical presentation, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Basic IT knowledge in security hardware, network and database.
• Familiar with security access control system, CCTV and alarm system products / systems is an advantage.
• Candidates with technical presales background will be an advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Client service oriented and quick learner.

The role of the Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator entails maintaining a smooth and timely purchasing and delivery process to meet targeted schedules. They are responsible for coordinating customs clearance and logistics processes. Additionally, this position is accountable for effective documentation and file management.

Main Responsibilities

· Possess sourcing experience and demonstrate responsibility and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment.

· Procure products and equipment promptly to meet project and service requirements.

· Ensure timely delivery by following up with vendors on confirmed purchase orders, adhering to targeted schedules.

· Take responsibility for timely delivery to fulfill specific project needs.

· Manage purchasing information in the ERP system to ensure accurate and up-to-date data.

· Coordinate import and export processes, including customs clearance and logistics coordination.

· Oversee the faulty replacement process and warehouse operations.

· Maintain documentation and file management.

· Handle inventory management, including goods control, receipt, and delivery.

Requirements

· Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
