Responsibilities:

To handle the policy fulfilments and ensure they are processed within service standards and in accordance with regulatory requirements.

• Handle policy fulfillment process and ensure issuance and other activities related to policy services are done within stipulated turnaround time.

• Ensure compliance of SOP and accuracy in policy documentation.

• Ensure timely and compliance of file copy archiving procedures.

• Involve in improving workflows and policies to maximize the own productivity, efficiency and accuracy of policy documentation.

• Participate in UAT and projects for Personal Lines product launches, system and process\enhancements.

• Cover PLQ office operations when need arises.

• Provide support in other operational activities when assigned.

• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.

• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.

• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

Responsibilities:

You will report to Team Lead, Business Processing (Group Insurance Operations), and the key role is to carry out the daily tasks of the business processing function and process review.

• Issuance of policy contracts and endorsements;

• Issuance of policy adjustment, member movement;

• Responsible for premiums computation and experience refund;

• Ensure tax invoices/endorsement schedules/medical cards are issued timely;

• Liaise with direct clients/agents on employee benefits related queries via all channels;

• Fronting of digital solutions to clients/agents to champion for digitisation;

• Attend to escalations independently and recommend sound resolutions;

• Ensure the accuracy of records entries & proper documentation;

• Participate in projects which improve operations efficiency and effectively review the current processes and initiate improvement;

• Participate in User Acceptance Testing prior to deployment of changes in system;

• Maintenance of Department records and endorsements;

• Administration of data to provide reports required to track Department’s progress;

• Provide administrative support and perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Team Lead;

Responsibilities:

Assist and support the New Business administrative team on daily operations / processing.

• Registration of new proposal submissions into system.

• Process policy amendment requests coming from daily inflow of documents received.

• Processing incoming New Business applications workflow .

• Sending of emails to intermediaries (GE Life Planners / OCBC Sales Reps), informing of outstanding requirements / actions for assessment and policy inception.

• Manning the NBU counter, attending to intermediaries’ enquiries and acknowledgement on submission of new business documents (on rotational basis).

• Attending to email enquiries / requests coming from intermediaries.

• Assist on policy premium billings / refunds and despatch matters.

• Coordinate and collaborate with intermediaries and internal stakeholders to ensure daily work issues are resolved to provide appropriate and timely services to customers.

• Other duties include (but not limited to), back-up duties during team member’s absence and other ad hoc tasks as assigned by supervisors.
