The Finance Assistant will support the Finance Manager in various financial functions, including accounts management, financial reporting, and analysis. The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities effectively.
Responsibilities:
Record Accounts Payable
· Record vendor invoices in system
· Process payments
Record Accounts Receivable
· Process billing and recording in system
· Record receipts in system
· Support to follow up on overdue receipts
General Accounting/ Close process
· Manage accruals, prepayments, recoverable accounts
· Prepare monthly balance sheet, bank reconciliations, follow up on outstanding items
· Support preparation of financial reports
· Support preparation of quarterly GST reports
Fixed Assets process
· Capitalise fixed assets in system
· Run depreciation
· Support to year-end audit preparation.
· Support ad-hoc Finance/Accounting process improvement process or any finance or accounting related ad-hoc projects
· Prepare financial statement for XBRL reporting and submission.
Qualifications
· Diploma in Finance, or related qualifications
· Eye for details, proactive and willing to take on challenges.
· Experience and proficiency in Microsoft office tools/programs.
· Good communication skills and systematic thinking.
· Responsible and positive work attitude with good abilities to deal with challenging tasks in a fast-paced environment.
