What you’ll achieve

Responsible for global supply planning for their specific platform/commodity area. Ensures sourcing efforts meet business goals and objectives. Engages activities related to global sourcing, supplier selection, product delivery specifications, and quality. Develops and maintains working relationships with global internal/external supply chain partners.

You will:

• Works closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure product availability at product launch.
• Works directly with suppliers or tier 2 supplier if required to assure capacity and continuity of supply for specific components.
• Coordinates global supply with regional procurement.
• Balances available supply globally against regional requirements.
• Performs long-range capacity analysis for their commodity.

Join us as a Global Supply Management, Advisor for Memory on our Procurement Market Commodities team in Singapore.

What you’ll achieve

As a Global Supply Manager you will be responsible for providing procurement expertise to ensure optimized supply chain strategies across multiple business units.

Responsibilities Include:

• Coordinate global supply with regional procurement and balance available supply against supplier capacity
• Build collaborative relationships with vendor base and drive continuity of supply actions on appropriate cadence
• Accountable for supplier’s operational execution and will use the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process to manage supplier performance, giving feedback on exceptional execution as well as areas for improvement
• Provide material commitments based on time to market requirements for new memory technology and/or platform launches (NPI)
• Work cross functionally with planning and product management teams to mitigate aging/excess inventory

Essential Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience; demand/supply planning, vendor management
• Experience with large data sets to identify market, demand, and/or supply trends for informed decision making; advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Great attention to detail w/ the ability to summarize complex issues for leadership decision making or requests for assistance
• Ability to navigate cross functional organizations and influence up to Director level contacts inside and outside of the procurement organization
• Should be proactive and always operating with a high sense of urgency

Desirable Requirements

• Desire to take on special projects that create value for the broader market commodities organization
• Technical knowledge of memory and/or PC & Enterprise hardware
