Purpose of the Role

Responsible for implementing, and overseeing employee development programs. This role focuses on learning needs, based on current and future capability requirements and improving employee skills, performance, and productivity through targeted training initiatives, career development programs, and continuous learning opportunities.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and Support Learning Programmes

• Assist in the development of materials for learning programmes
• Analyse external vendors’ learning course contents, and identity courses that meet EDMI’s organisational training needs
• Manage virtual learning platforms and update e-learning content
• Manage Learning Management System (LMS) employees’ training administration
• Liaise with internal and/or external trainers to schedule/organise learning courses, including resources and logistics arrangements.
• Communicate learning courses’ schedules and objectives to employees
• Track the usage of virtual learning programmes
• Collate and analyse employees’ overall evaluations to assess the and effectiveness of learning programmes
• Facilitate payments to vendors
• Ensure that the mandated learning courses comply with audit requirements, and identify lapses for improvement

Support Talent Development

• Assist to implement talent development programmes
• Track progress of talent development plans
• Assess the effectiveness of talent development programmes and identify any areas for improvement

Support Talent Onboarding Administration

• Conduct orientation to new hires and prepare necessary onboarding documentation
• Provide guidance and monitor new hires’ probation appraisals and ensure that they meet performance expectations

Support Engagement Activities

• Support the execution of HR engagement activities
• Implement and coordinate employee well-being workshops and programmes
• Propose enhancement to employee well-being programmes and initiatives
• Administer and collate employee feedback/surveys and suggestion on organisation’s wellness initiatives

Projects and Initiatives

• Manage and support in any HR related projects or initiatives to streamline and/or improve work processes
• Assist to analyse and identify any opportunities for continuous improvement on any projects and initiatives
• Any jobs assigned from time to time

Experience and Qualifications

• Degree/ Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
• At least 3 years in training and development or a similar role
• Good in presentation skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact with all levels of employees
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Good and independent team player
• Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights
• Proficiency in e-learning platforms, learning management systems (LMS) and other HR software
• Proficient in Microsoft office especially MS PowerPoint

Purpose of Role

• Managing and overseeing the financial accounting of group
• Monitoring and analyzing business performance and financial reports of group companies
• Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles, internal control process and maintain accounting books and records properly
• Building relationships and interacting with business units to provide good solutions

Responsibilities

• Preparation of the monthly group's consolidated financial statements for management accounting
• Provide the monthly management report and financial analysis to parent company in Japan
• Preparation of the quarterly group's consolidated financial statements for group statutory reporting purpose
• Provide financial analysis to headquarter in Japan (Listed company of Tokyo Stock Exchange), liaise with auditors in Japan
• Financial budget and forecast of Group of companies (Balance sheet, CAPEX plan, Funding plan)
• Implementation/enhancement of Group consolidation accounting software, provide various analysis, reports and solution by using accounting software
• Monitor overall accounting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting policy
• Roll out reporting format, maintenance, guidance to group companies
• Enhancing month-end accounting process of group
• Establish and enforce proper J-Sox management process
• Liaise with headquarter for group initiatives
• Participation to ad-hoc project relating to accounting, tax and finance

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience of group consolidation in MNCs (at least more than 20 subsidiaries, multi currencies)
• Strong knowledge of Japanese GAAP and IFRS
• Strong knowledge about regulations of Tokyo Stock Exchange for disclosure
• The analysis, design, development, maintenance and enhancement of consolidation accounting software (Stravis/Hyperion) in global headquarter of MNCs
• Multi-lingual - English, Japanese
• Independent, self-driven, hands-on, meticulous at work, confident dealing with senior stakeholders
• Ability to solve complex issue, able to work under high pressure
• Experience of Corporate tax and transfer price would be advantageous
• Knowledge of SAP and Consolidation Accounting System will be an added advantage

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for basic cleaning in and around the factory building.

· Cleans office floors and rooms which include mopping, vacuuming, sweeping and cleaning of doors, glass partition and windows.

· Cleans Toilets including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, washing toilets bowls/urinals, washing/mopping toilet floors, cleaning sink and mirrors etc.

· Cleans office areas including emptying trash/recycling bins, wiping of workstations, tables & chairs, furniture etc.

· Sanitizing work areas and all touch points including but not limited to all door handles, desks, switches, buttons, handrails etc.

· Maintain cleanliness of commons areas, such as pantries, passageways, lobbies and staircases.

· Perform addition cleaning tasks, washing of utensils, restocking of beverages and biscuits as needed or assigned.

Requirements:

• No minimum qualification is required
• Experience in environmental cleaning is preferred
• one-year contract (renewable, subject to yearly review)
