Purpose of the Role
Responsible for implementing, and overseeing employee development programs. This role focuses on learning needs, based on current and future capability requirements and improving employee skills, performance, and productivity through targeted training initiatives, career development programs, and continuous learning opportunities.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and Support Learning Programmes
- Assist in the development of materials for learning programmes
- Analyse external vendors’ learning course contents, and identity courses that meet EDMI’s organisational training needs
- Manage virtual learning platforms and update e-learning content
- Manage Learning Management System (LMS) employees’ training administration
- Liaise with internal and/or external trainers to schedule/organise learning courses, including resources and logistics arrangements.
- Communicate learning courses’ schedules and objectives to employees
- Track the usage of virtual learning programmes
- Collate and analyse employees’ overall evaluations to assess the
andeffectiveness of learning programmes - Facilitate payments to vendors
- Ensure that the mandated learning courses comply with audit requirements, and identify lapses for improvement
Support Talent Development
- Assist to implement talent development programmes
- Track progress of talent development plans
- Assess the effectiveness of talent development programmes and identify any areas for improvement
Support Talent Onboarding Administration
- Conduct orientation to new hires and prepare necessary onboarding documentation
- Provide guidance and monitor new hires’ probation appraisals and ensure that they meet performance expectations
Support Engagement Activities
- Support the execution of HR engagement activities
- Implement and coordinate employee well-being workshops and programmes
- Propose enhancement to employee well-being programmes and initiatives
- Administer and collate employee feedback/surveys and suggestion on organisation’s wellness initiatives
Projects and Initiatives
- Manage and support in any HR related projects or initiatives to streamline and/or improve work processes
- Assist to analyse and identify any opportunities for continuous improvement on any projects and initiatives
- Any jobs assigned from time to time
Experience and Qualifications
- Degree/ Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
- At least 3 years in training and development or a similar role
- Good in presentation skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact with all levels of employees
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Good and independent team player
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights
- Proficiency in e-learning platforms, learning management systems (LMS) and other HR software
- Proficient in Microsoft office especially MS PowerPoint
