Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to teach IB/A-Level English and Economics. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in both English and Economics, aligning with the IB/A-Level curriculum.
• Provide personalized feedback and assessments to track student progress.
• Foster a learning environment that encourages inquiry, critical thinking, and active participation.
• Assist students in preparing for exams, including internal assessments, essays, and case studies.
• Support students with personalized learning plans and additional tutoring as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Economics, or a related field. (Postgraduate qualifications or teaching certificates are a plus.)
• In-depth knowledge of IB or A-Level curriculum, with prior experience teaching these subjects preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly. Fluent in English and Mandarin.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality IB curriculum lessons in Math, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology for students at both the Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL).
• Design engaging lesson plans that align with the IB philosophy, focusing on inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and real-world applications.
• Assess students' academic progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
• Prepare students for internal assessments and IB exams, offering guidance and support throughout the process.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary learning opportunities across subjects.
• Participate in school-wide initiatives, professional development, and continuous learning opportunities to enhance teaching practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or a related field.
• Teaching certification and/or IB certification is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) is preferred.
• Proven experience teaching Math, Physics, and Chemistry within the IB framework.
• Strong understanding of IB curriculum, assessment criteria, and teaching methodologies.
