This position is for the Animal Nutrition Business Line.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Supply and demand management (ASIA)

• Supports demand planning input on SAP IBP.
• Monitor and analyze the demand forecast for short term planning at 0 – 4 months, as well as mid-term up to 12 months.
• Optimizes and monitors inventory levels to fulfill the demand by analyzing inventory metrics and setting target levels at various locations in warehouses in Asia.
• Handles inherent product shortages in SAP ATP at SKU level and manages day to day allocation of the dedicated product groups on SAP ATP at order level as well as forward planning.
• Attends regular S&OP meetings with other functions and sites as well as other regular meetings to receive and provide updates on the supply and demand situation within Asia so that the relevant information can be escalated for global decision makings.

Supply Chain Improvement (ASIA)

• Main driver on improvement of cost, quality and efficiency of operations

Supply Chain Reporting and Projects (ASIA)

• Analyze and report on Supply Chain KPIs
• supports the Supply Chain department in projects and other day-to-day business activities such as master data setups.
• Identify opportunities for digitalization projects within the supply chain scope
• Represent Asia in AN supply chain projects and responsible to implement global initiatives in Asia

Order to Cash Process

• Optimize order to cash process in countries to ensure seamless end to end workflow, working towards all KPIs.
• Supports other defined miscellaneous task, eg, Purchase order creation, MIGO, IDOC, month end closing, invoice verification etc.

Sales & Performance Reporting (ASIA PACIFIC)

• Generate monthly sales KPIs, volume and price analysis, contribution margins by country , sales persons, customers.
• Consolidate Asia Pacific volume budget for production planning process (EN+SN)
• Volume fulfillment tracking by service contracts
• Provide financial forecasting based on latest demand plan

Toll Manufacturing Activities

• Steer ASIA requirements for Ecobiol/ Gutcare production with toll manufacturers, including forecasting and operations / delivery execution into the region.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Science, Engineering, Supply Chain or Logistics
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office (esp. Excel, Power BI), experience in using planning tools such as IBP is a plus; strong in excel business modelling
• Multi-lingual ability (preferably English and Mandarin)
• Excellent communication skills, detail oriented, strong analytical skills, pro-active, independent, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities under time pressure.
• Digitalization skill
• Project management experience is preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operates equipment in the production systems, prepares solutions, monitors certain measuring instruments and equipment, and assists in unloading and loading operations.
• Carries out cleaning, maintenance, and minor repair work in the production systems.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Chemical Process Engineering or NITEC in Chemical Process Technology
• Operating experience in Chemical / Petrochemical industry is advantageous

• Willing to work in Jurong Island and perform 12 hours rotating shift

• Attend discipline engineering meetings to become familiar with design, special issues, etc. and to provide construction input and information when necessary. Attend subcontractor weekly and special meetings as required to monitor status and identify critical issues that may require owner input.
• Assist in developing subcontract requisitions as needed.
• Understand the construction scheduling logic and critical path with focus on the piping work. Monitor subcontractor progress and help EPCM look ahead to future steps necessary to keep construction progress on schedule. Also monitor the progress of Vendor’s personnel and support in solving interface issues will be with the responsible parties.
• Identify critical work and make sure that team is informed of why the work is critical and when the work will be done. This could be technically critical work that must be witnessed (torque of bolted connections) or safety critical work (hazardous lift, work near energized equipment). This is done so that Evonik specific expertise can be brought to bear on the critical issues. Some of the work on the SIMEX project is taking place in a running plant, and these interfaces are critical. Managing or assisting in managing the interface between the project and the running plant will be a considerable portion of the incumbent’s work.
• Review Field Instructions (field changes for subcontractor) for accuracy and get appropriate approvals within Evonik.
• Review and monitor implementation of Piping Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), witness as needed hold points or critical steps. Check that test and acceptance documentation is in order. See that non-conforming deliveries and workmanship are documented and corrected.
• Support the safety program by participating in safety walks and other safety events. Develop and support alignment between EMSEA and SIMEX safety programs and emergency response plans. Set a good example by following all safety rules and recommendations.
• This is not an exhaustive list of the work that may be required of the person filling this position. For example, the incumbent may assist with commissioning and start up tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide direct support in planning for and managing the overall production operation including safety, production goals, permits, improvement of production & administrative processes, realization of investment projects, work organization and product quality.
• Ensure that all applicable management system such as FAMI QS, ISO, Halal Certification, Kosher Certification, etc are met at all times.
• Prepare all required internal and external reports.
• Trouble shoot and analyser production upsets and resolve issues to minimise the operation downtime.
• Manage internal projects.
• Manage and implement continual improvement ideas, project and suggestion.
• Manage the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of the plant.

REQUIREMENTS

• Master or Bachelor in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry or equivalent by experience.
• Site Main Controller (SMC) certification as required by Singapore regulations would be an added advantage.
• Min. 10 years experience in chemical or petrochemical production, including experience in plant management functions.
• Leadership skills, especially strong communication and team mindset.
• Knowledge and experience in using engineering software and SAP.
• Experience working in petrochemical, refinery and chemical industries would be an added advantage.
• Proficient in root cause analysis tools (fishbone, Apollo, 5Why, etc)
• Open minded towards team concept.
