Job Responsibilities:

Job Description:

• To perform new product development from ingredient sourcing, laboratory and kitchen trials to commercialization, focusing especially in sauces.
• To conduct continual improvement of existing products.
• To conduct sensory evaluation and approval of new and/or alternative raw materials.
• To prepare product costings based on raw materials and manufacturing costs.
• To conceptualize new and innovative products.
• Ensure all product creation complies with customer, government and legal regulatory requirements within the country of use.
• To develop innovative solutions to help grow and value-add to customers’ requirements, ensuring that any solutions provided are within the stipulated cost parameters and manufacturing capability.

• Conduct daily briefing with kitchen team

• Evaluate Supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time and best prices and ensure all criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectations
• Ensure suppliers be able to meet the established terms and conditions, commit the timeline given without compromising the quality of the service and products
• Admin/Data Entry of Daily invoices.
• Prepare monthly cost saving report
• Perform monthly inventory
• Assist in Halal renewal exercise / update halal certs.
• Undertaking any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Superior.

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree with minimum 4 years of relevant working experience with a proven track record in procurement function and currently holding equivalent or same level position
• Pleasant disposition with excellent communication skills, presentation and negotiation/ analytical skills
